Good price but not great quality.

The only thing I don't like about these nerf bars is they seem a little flimsy after being mounted to the truck. There is a noticeable sag when I step on them to get into my truck. However, they look good and were easy to install. I did have to drill a hole through the frame rail on the drivers side for the rear support. The nerf bar was hitting my emergency brake lines if I tried to get to the existing hole the directions wanted.

2000 3/4 ton Chevy Suburban nerf steps

I really like these nerf steps. They are not difficult to install and I think look great. They do not bolt straight in and I had to drill some holes but still not bad at all. I would recommend them.

Difficult

Kit 204039-2 fits 73 to 91 Chevy Suburbans and Crew Cab pickups. The instructions claim no drilling required, wrong. The instructions indicate the nut on the spring can be accessed from the back of the hanger, wrong there is no access. I thought maybe this was only the case on suburbans but it is not. The front mount which mounts to a body mount needs a 1 1/4" spacer so the bar is equally spaced from the rocker panel. Other than that it's a nice bar be prepared to do some fabrication.
