Good Looking Boards

Reviewed By Hibatur C (Silver Spring, MD) Reviewed for a 2012 Dodge Durango —11/3/2017 8:21 AM

I really like the sleek look of these boards compared to the steel nerf bars I had previously. I also appreciate the aluminum in the boards as opposed to steel which can rust. In terms of installation it was mostly straight forward. The only "issue" is I wish that the rear of the board where the passenger doors are was a little more stable. In my previous nerf bar there was an extra bolt that was used near the rear of the vehicle. I haven't had issues with the board coming off or anything!

Get Help Installing

Reviewed By Lyman A (TUCSON, AZ) Reviewed for a 2016 Dodge Durango —6/6/2017 8:39 PM

Tried installing without ramps or lift. Big mistake. Used ramps and job got much easier, but still problems. Not high enough to see the large 6 mounting bolts and not enough room in the hangers for my large hands and fingers. Had to draft my wife to help installing the washers and bolts. She did a great job and the job was finished in a reasonable amount of time. Biggest problem was getting up and down from under the car. Not a problem for youngsters, but I'm 80 and my wife is 77.

Looks great, fairly easy to install

Reviewed By Gale T (PORTLAND, TX) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Durango —2/7/2017 5:35 AM

Purchased these for our 2014 Dodge Durango. Fairly easy to install, had to look back at previous reviews to get some tips to make it easier. Trying to get the initial bolts in was getting very time consuming, so stopped and checked out the reviews. They look great on the car. Getting used to using them as a step versus a trip hazard, is taking a while.
