"these oval tubes are just what my 2006 dodge ram needed to bring out the gleam in it.. easy installation, fast delivery, all in one package. Nice, very nice!!!!!!!!" —Raul F from South Houston, TX bought an Aries 4" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram.
"Recieved my order within two weeks and installed the steps in less than an hour. Once I finished with one step on my Dodge Megacab the other went quickly. The bars attach to the frame which make them stronger than other brands that attach to the body only. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Great value for the price. Rubber pads on the steps themselves offer good grip." —Scott H from Valdosta, GA bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, Quad cab.
"Like the looks, it makes getting in and out of the truck much easier and safer. The box was pretty beat up when delivered and one runner had a very minor dent in it." —Anita G from Turlock, CA bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, SLT, Quad cab, 6' 4" short bed.
"Easy to install, look great, very sturdy - no bending, creaking, nothing. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra hundred bucks on the chrome, it's worth it and they'll last a lot longer. In case you're wondering how it installs this is how it goes, at least on my Ram 1500 Quad Cab: bolt anchors installed in the body under the doors (pre-existing factory prepared borings there), two each to front and back, and one big bolt anchor replacing frame bolt, front and back, and sturdy brackets between them, nothing flimsy here. Then you just bolt the bar to the bracket. Takes an hour. Incredibly strong and attractive." —Michael S from Seabrook, NH bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, SLT, Quad cab, 6' 4" short bed.
"The bars came well packaged and undamaged, all the parts were there, the installation like anything else is harder the 1st time then the other side is easy. All the brackets fit correctly and accurately, the only problem is in identifing the hardware, I had to take out a metric ruler to measure bolts and washers to correctly identify them before assembly. Note..these bars do not go from tire to tire, just to the end of the rear door but they still look nice,it was just a surprise. The position of the bars is just right." —Ken R from Pueblo, CO bought a Steelcraft 4" Straight Oval Nerf Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, Quad cab.
"This was my first time installing the step bars on a truck. They have always been on the truck when I purchased. Once I read through the instructions and then seperated the bolts and lock washers to the right bolts the rest was easy. I think I installed in about an hour. I am very satisfied with the quality and looks. Shipping took less than a week." —Robert O from Council Bluffs, IA bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, SLT, Quad cab, 6' 4" short bed.
"Better than I had expected! Hardest part was removing my old rusted out running boards to install these. Strong mounting brackets" —Jacob H from Russell, KS bought a Steelcraft 4" Straight Oval Nerf Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram.
"upon opening carton one page of instructions were not very helpful.no illustrations for install or picture to explain where parts go other than main four brackets" —Wayne B from Phillipsburg, NJ bought a Rampage 6" Streamline Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram.
"These bars are great. Look good. Functional. Lifetime Warranty. The instructions absolutly suck, to be polite about it. Also my support "straps" were labeled opposite of what they should have been. Let me explain: The straps are labeled DF, DR, PF, PR. Which obviously stands for Driver Front, Driver Rear, Passenger Front, Passenger Rear. Well the way they were labeled did not work. I actually had to use the ones labeled Driver Front and put them on the Passenger Rear, it was like that all the way around.......complete opposite......if it said driver side, it actually went on the passenger side, if it said front, it actually went on the rear. Well after several hours I figured it out. It would have only taken 45 min or so to install both sides if everything was labeled correctly and the instructions were better." —Derrek J H from Belton, MO bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram.
"Took about 30 minutes to install. Opened box and all parts were there. Packed so as to protect from damage. Read the directions and were easy to understand. Actual work was done in thirty minutes." —James P from Mary Esther, FL bought a Steelcraft 4" Straight Oval Nerf Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram, Quad cab.
"I am sure glad I purchased these for my 2011 Dodge Ram 2500, I was a bit skeptical at first but after reading some positive reviews, I had to go for it. Great quality, and easy instructions, pics are kinda hard to understand until you just lay under the truck and see what you have to work with. then it all makes sense. These make the truck look finished and perfect, for way less $$$$$." —Nickolas L from Fort Atkinson, WI bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2006 Dodge Ram.
