Not as wide as the bars that came from Ford, which are no longer available, but they look good and work well.

I had originally thought that the installation would take approximately 1-2 hours but it ended up taking me 6 hours because I did not have the right size sockets that I needed for the job and didn't realize all of the adjustments that needed to be made. These fit very tightly because they're meant to be sturdy so be prepared to make a lot of adjustments to get them on and go back and tighten everything. They look GREAT on my truck and I'm glad I spent the time to do this project.

They look nice and are plenty sturdy once installed. The instructions are poor and the mounting holes for the rear frame rail did not line up. The holes in the brackets were obviously drilled off center. Once the holes were opened up it went right together. Very impressed with how sturdy they feel.
