"I go thru some pretty rough terrain down here in the flatwoods and for the bars to not have scratched bent or broke yet i knew somebody out there was thinking about guys like me. From the river full of old stumps to the mudd holes this a great product! Great price and easy to install if u have any know how on turnin a wrench no jokes!!!" —Carlos V from Naylor, GA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"Nerf bars look fantastic on the truck and were a breeze to install. Order/shipping and delivery to my door .... almost 2 months. Don't know how a company stays in business with that type of sales response. Nice product, poor delivery cycle." —Thomas M from Morton, PA bought a Go Rhino Dominator II Cab-Length Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150.
"I received my bars 2-3 days after I ordered them. I call that fast! Some of the parts are marked backwards so keep that in mind. The only problem I had was removing the old rusted parts from the previous bars. These bars seem to be built well. They look good on my truck. My 4 yr old loves them cause she can now climb in the truck without out assistance. :)" —Linda R from Clay, WV bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150.
"The nerf bars arrived in a timely fashion & were priced from $50 to $150 less than other places I checked out, both online & brick & mortar store. I was able to install them myself in about 45 minutes to an hour & they look great on my F-150. The only change that I would like to see is for the ends of the tube steel to be sealed to prevent water/snow from getting inside the bars & possibly corroding them from the inside out in the future." —G. Douglas K from Morgantown, PA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, Regular cab.
"i like em makes it easy to get in the truck. i did have to switch the right front and left front brakets out since it was mislabled other then that it was a brezze to install." —Barry H from Marietta, GA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"Installation was very simple. It took longer to make sense of the directions than to install them. Everything fit together to my surprise. It took about a week for delivery and approximately 30 minutes to install. I would recommend this product to everyone." —Tim F from Crooksville, OH bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"I'm loving how these fit and look on my truck, really impressed. I'm an old guy, so it took about an hour to install them. Heavy duty hardware provided." —William B from Fallbrook, CA bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150.
"These were almost a straight bolt on but I had to drill the front mounting slots on the bracket for the bar. The slots were not long enough to actually mount the bars and I had to drill them out another half inch forward in order for them to fit properly. Real pain in the ass since the brackets are thick and I do not own a drill press." —Bryan H from Panama City, FL bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"Ordered the nerf bars from Auto Anything, which were then backordered and then backordered again. I started to think I would never get them. They finally arrived and came in a badly damaged box, though the bars themselves were ok.
The directions for installation were a little confusing, so keep in mind that this will take some time (about 2-3 hours). The quality of the bars & durability of the mounting brackets are second to none. These are not a cheap Mickey Mouse set that I've seen on other trucks. These bars can hold some weight! Once they were installed, I received many compliments on them and they really do make your truck look Boss!" —James E from Willow Grove, PA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 1999 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
