"Install time was 20 minutes on the passenger side and 10 minutes on the driver side just as advertised and quality was very good. The only problem was that one of the brackets was mis-marked but it was so obvious that it caused no problem." —Eddy D from Buda, TX bought a Tuff-Bar 3" Step Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, Regular cab.
"The step bars are very easy to install the only prroblem I had was they gave me three brackets that were right and the four one was a duplicate of the back bracket so I could only install one side. I did call and they said they would mail me the correct part . The company was good about that i just have to drive around with one nerf bar for a while." —Greg M from Liberty Center, OH bought a Tuff-Bar 3" Step Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"I purchased these as a xmas gift to my husband and he loves them. He's shocked with the price especially after looking around here. He could not wait to get them on. Thanks again, totally satisfied!" —Desiree C from Santa Fe, NM bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew cab.
"I had a previous set of Westin nerf bars that come on my 2002 F150. The finally rusted out after 7 years, so ordered an exact replacement. The bars came very quickly, and I was able to reuse the existing mounting brackets, so once I got the old bolts out and the brackets sanded down and painted, the installation of the new bars was snap, less than 15 minutes." —Tom B from Williston, VT bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"I replaced the bars that came on my truck with the exact same thing--Westin Signature Series nerf bars. The original set had completely rusted-out after six years, and I was a bit hesitant to put the same thing back on, but I like the OEM look and the price was right. The new set was easy to install and greatly improved the look of my truck. Time will tell whether or not I made the right choice." —William D S from Canfield, OH bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew cab.
"The product fit the truck without problem, it was priced right and looks great. Thanks
rw" —Richard W from Weston, WV bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"The bars are great, the problem I had was the hardware was not all there, I was lucky that I was at a friend shop when the install was started, we had to weed through his stuff to get the correct hardware to complete the install. I was going to call but thought since it was done I wouldn't. It does make me think twice when ordering in the future" —James P from Model City, NY bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"The bars I purchased were for a super crew truck. They look great on my truck and much better than the factory running boards." —Jon R from Christiansburg, VA bought a Tuff-Bar 3" Step Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"Installation was slower than expected due to incomplete and confusing markings on parts and instructions that were not very explicit." —Duane N from Boise, ID bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, Regular cab.
"Permanent upgrade that surpasses chrome for replacement of powder-coat rust traps. Instructions were good, although reading them through as recommended is helpful. The pictures provided help too, if you look at them. I'll never look back at what I replaced, since these will never rust...worth the extra money." —Steven W from Sonora, CA bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"Pretty easy to install and the black finish looks great on my truck. But on a SuperCrew F150, I wonder if two mounting points is enough? The OEM running boards had three mounting points which provided plenty of support. With two, I just wonder how well the brackets will hold up.... the step bars seem to "give" a little when placing any kind of weight toward the middle of the bars. Everything is tightened very well with a torque wrench so I have no doubts that the bolts will hold. I guess it doesn't really matter... it's not like I will be using it as a trampoline. Overall a great deal." —Tae D from Springboro, OH bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2002 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
