"I like these bars. They really look nice on my F-150 and they were really easy to install.Took me about 45 mins to install.I would tell anyone who is looking for a good quality nerf bar to go ahead and buy these great value!" —Gary L from Lakewood, CO bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"I did have a problem with the installation. The front brackets were incorrectly stamped (DF and PF). There were reversed. I didn't discover that until final assembly/fit up on one side. The instructions could use more clarifacation for the bolt sizes also. It took around an hour for one side and maybe 20 minutes for the other. But overall, I am very happy with the look and stability of the bars. I'd recommend them to anyone." —James S from Murfreesboro, TN bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, Regular cab.
"Nice product , well built. Only problem was front mounting brackets were marked backward." —Byron M from Beckville, TX bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"If the nuts and washers that can be seen from the side were black for the black bars, that would be nice." —Glenn S from Scottsdale, AZ bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150.
"I am quite pleased with these bars, best deal I could find on stainless steel bars and stainless steel brackets. I also used canned expandable foam to seal the ends of the tubes.
These bars look great on my Lariat,I would highly recommend them." —Paul C from White Haven, PA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"Installation and instructions were simplified. Installed both bars in less than an hour with no drilling. Can't believe they are so solid and sturdy with only two connection points on the two braces provided, which are right on the ends of the bars." —James H from Pittsburgh, PA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"The Go Rhino 4000 Series Nerf Bars look good. I'm not happy with this purchase because of the difficulty of installation. The instructions are pathetic. It took me forever to figure out how to install this item. Then on top of that one of the mounting brackets only had one drill hole, so I had to drill another hole in the bracket to install bar. But after many hours of frustration me and my son and a neighbor finally got them on and they look good. It's not Auto Anythings fault for the manufacturer's shottiness, but the overall ratings are lower because of it." —Ray S from La Porte, TX bought a Go Rhino 3" 4000 Series Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, Regular cab.
"Put these on a 2011 Ford F150 super crew. Three brackets with two holes in each. The middle bracket only had one hole on the truck so you'll have to drill for that one. I didn't, but probably will once i round up a right hand drill. Not really load bearing there so aint really worried about it. The hardware package didn't have any lock washers either. Also the threads on the bolts stick out quite a bit. It's kinda ugly and i'll probably hack them off." —James R from Youngsville, PA bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"Got a new F150, wife had a tough time climbing up into it, so got these. My only real complaint would be that there's a wide variety of hardware included, and unclear sometimes which hardware was which. Would suggest a piece of paper with the actual size outlines of the various bolts, lockwashers, etc., that would have made it a lot easier. The one inch black and white photos weren't real useful in discerning what went where. First side took me about 4 hours, the other side more like 30 minutes. Look good and do the job, we'll see how the finish holds up." —Charles G from Alachua, FL bought a Westin 3" E Series Nerf Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCab.
"I love everything about these steps. They install easily and look amazing. I would suggest these to my friends." —Josh S from Germantown, TN bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
"The instruction for mounting were too incomplete to follow. Need better instructions with photos. The clips wouldn't fit had to reuse the hardware off the factory steps. They look great once mounted Overall I'm happy" —Dalton D from Goldsboro, NC bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2011 Ford F-150, SuperCrew.
