CARR Hoop II Truck Steps Reviews

06 F150 Install

Reviewed By Thomas A (Methuen, MA) Reviewed for a 2006 Ford F-150 —2/17/2010 3:18 AM

Example diagrams probably could have been a little better. Luckily with my truck as probably with other F150's you only really have one spot to put the front and rear steps and it happens to be where it is recommended for them and I was able to use a preexisting hole from the runner board mount. Pretty lucky circumstances but I'm glad it worked out the way I wanted it to. Only drawback is in the winter snowy roads the snow/slush builds up on the steps spraying off the tires.

Go Rhino Universal Truck Step Reviews

A Great Little Step

The Go Rino Universal Step fit onto the vehicle great and added awesome appearance and functionality to my new Ford Truck! Installation was a workout do to the location of the holes to be drilled (a template would have been a good thing to have provided or make), however, well worth the effort!

Bestop TrekStep Retractable Tailgate Step Reviews

Great alternative to the factory step up

Reviewed By Derek D (Paw Paw, MI) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford F-150 —10/13/2014 7:15 AM

Ford wants around 1K for the tailgate step option. The truck I bought didn't have it so I purchased the Bestop. It installed in about 15 minutes and is barely visible when retracted. It works very well & I'd recommend it to anyone. The only change I made was to use stainless bolts instead of the ones provided.
