This is a great step. I wish it was made so more step was at the side of tailgate. I hope you soon make handle to mount on top of side to use as grab bar.

I am in my 70's, and I installed these by myself... but it did take me eight hours! The instructions are typical, written as a guide for a mechanic who does these from time-to-time, not a DYI-er who is doing it for the first time. Read through several times before starting, and the illustrations are a general guide. The quality is excellent, the look is great, and my vertically challenged friends love them. My truck has no lift kit and stock tires so I went with the regular steps.

Good looking Bed Step and well made looks great when you get installed. First of all the common guy will have a hard time installing this himself. First thing you have to have is a 17/32 drill bit you will have to order one because your local Lowes or Homedepot won't have it in stock. The cost is between 25.00 and 30.00 dollars. Next you most likely will need a right angle drill which most guys don't have to drill into frame real tight quarters on my 2016 Silverado crew cab.
