"They Look Great,Very Strong,Great price!! Would Recommend to Everyone!!!!!!" —Wayne H from Bakerstown, PA bought a Lund 5" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra, Extended cab.
"We installed a wheel to wheel oval step bar. Great looking step looks great on the truck the installation instruction are confusing and make no sense at all if you lay all the parts out look at the pictures you finally figure them out. On a side note if you leave the instruction in the sun the pictures fade and you can't tell what they are. Having the brackets stamped with location was great help but if there is a sticker over the stamp believe the sticker." —Tracey P from Roseburg, OR bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra, Extended cab, 8' long bed, single rear wheels.
"They look great, but i was a little disapointed in the thiness of the metal, will they hold up well, i like the looks , i just worry about the weight they don't seam very sterdy." —James P from Martin, TN bought a Rampage 6" Streamline Step Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"Installed quite easily (could have been labeled left and right) in less than 45 minutes. Spent most of that time looking for tools. They look great and I hope time will tell of lasting quality" —Robert R from Wantagh, NY bought a Dee Zee 4" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"I do like the bar looks great and being able to paint the end caps the color of the vehicle is nice. But after three trips to the hardware store and using hardware I had on hand I virtually did not use anything supplied by Rampage, not to mention the nylon nuts did not fit the supplied bolts at all that was the third trip to hardware store.they need a little more attention to the QC and better installation instructions." —Harold F from Denver, CO bought a Rampage 6" Streamline Step Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"Easy to install, looks great, built sturdy. Only complaint is that the packaging isn't labeled for the bolt's, nut's, and washer's. If I wasn't a mechanic, it would have been a pain in the butt to figure out." —Joseph M from Junction City , KS bought a Steelcraft 4" Straight Oval Nerf Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra, Crew cab.
"Very nice bars. They seem to be pretty sturdy. Time will tell. Only have two minor complaints. First, the installation instructions say to use the provided bolts for the main brackets. However, the bolts in the kit are too small. I just used the original bolts and it seems to work fine. Next, I was disappointed that these bars only had two point attachment to the frame. This is an extended cab and I thought a three point attachment would have been more durable. All in all, a great product for the money." —Peter A from Fort Worth, TX bought an Aries 4" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra, Extended cab.
"These nerf bars come exactly as advertised, clean look and very simple to install with absolutly no drilling on my 08' GMC pick up. I saw that one reviewer said that it took longer to find the tools to do the install than the job actually took to do and he was right. One small issue I had was actual final torque dementions for the bolts, I wasn't sure how far I should go as far as tightening,( I was compressing rubber bushings.) some sort of guide to that would be nice to add to the instructions." —Michael M from Northport, NY bought a Dee Zee 4" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2008 GMC Sierra, Extended cab.
