"They are great, wouldn't have been happy with any other. Highly recommend. just a tip buy the extension's you won't be sorry. Everything look's great and work's. Can not help you with any tip's about install as I had the Jeep dealer ship take care of that." —Brian C from Cape May Court House, NJ bought a Romik Running Board Sidesteps for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.
"Love the looks! However, if you're a builder and eyeball them at their level you'll notice that they are a bit off balance, not many guys look from that angle tho. Arrived quick, happy with that.
INSTALATION: Passenger side went easy, 15 minutes- two guys. Driver's side - NOT EASY, had to drill out front mounting holes, grind about a 1/4" of that heavy steel inside of the slot that goes around the body mount bushing. 4 Man-Hours. Needed big rubber mallet and a floor-jack to fit." —Timothy G from Oroville, WA bought a Smittybilt SRC Side Armor for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 2-door.
"As with others, I had to enlarge the front mounting holes to mount the side bars, but since I expected it that was no big deal. In Smittybilts defense they state that in the instructions (at least in my box) and I am sure there is some variance with each install. Easy to have somebody hold up the back on the studs, raise up the front to see what way to ream the hole, and make the adjustment." —Stephen M from West Hills, CA bought a Smittybilt SRC Side Armor for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 4-door.
"I was hesitant to buy these after reading some reviews about having to grind mounting holes and such. I had no problems. They were an easy install and they look great." —Beth T from Rockwall, TX bought a Smittybilt SRC Side Armor for a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 2-door.
