Not perfect - Not bad.

At first it seemed the brackets were made for a different vehicle. Bends & holes that appeared not to line up, but by assembling very loosely & cranking down on bolts, everything tightened up okay. Hangs down below the lowest body flange so reduces ground clearance by about 3". Look good. Nice rubber step pads Altho not quite lined up where I step in & out. Time will tell about powder coat finish.

Great tool!

Reviewed By Jon O (Bellingham, WA) —4/7/2015 4:13 PM

For those of you that have a full size truck that could use a step in-between the ground and open tail gate the Truck N Buddy works great. I bought ours for a 3/4 ton Dodge. Those that have experience with these types of trucks know they sit higher off the ground than other brands. This item solved my issue with lifting heavy tools in and out of the truck all day long. Back saver and cheaper than the chiropractor!

A Little Disappointed

Reviewed By Geoff P (Rye, CO) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford F-250 —11/5/2014 3:09 PM

I expected them to be a little more beefy. The cross piece is very sturdy but the side pieces are not made of very heavy material. I believe they will get bent the first time they meet dirt or rock. I would expect something more substantial construction from such a high profile company. If you are looking for something that looks great and has a lot of class then these are a great choice. If you are into serious off roading then maybe not so much.
