Steelcraft Running Boards for our 2014 SR5 4 Runner

Reviewed By Douglas P (Northport, NY) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota 4Runner —1/18/2015 3:00 AM

I recivcd these boards via Fed Ex and had them installed in no time. I set aside about 2 hours on a freezing cold morning and with just a basic set of ratchet wrenches had them on my 4 Runner in no time. The insatall would have gone a bit quicker but for a few needed breaks to warm up my fingers. They fit my wife's 4Runner perfectly and the instructions were great. As an aside, AutoAnything had the best price by far and the shipping was free. We couldn't be more pleased.

4Runner tubes

Reviewed By Beverly G (MILLVILLE, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota 4Runner —10/24/2014 8:14 AM

The running boards themselves are great but there should be an option to have brackets that could extend out another inch or two. Because of the curve of the bottom of the vehicle, the tubes are tucked very close and partially under the car, making them less them awkward to use, especially when exiting.

Needed some "grinding" to get the mounting bolts to fit

Reviewed By Richard V (Belmont, CA) Reviewed for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner —9/22/2014 8:10 PM

I have 1999 Toyota 4Runner. The holes in the frame where the mounting bolts are to be inserted had some rounded corners. That was just enough that none of the parts inserted. I went to a friends house where we ground the corners down (and a bit of a welded bolt on one too) - then they slipped in fine. After that - was easy. But without that grinding wheel I would have been challenged to get the same amount ground off that was needed.
