Incredibly pleased

When this step bars arrived, we brought them upstairs into the kitchen for a 'look see' We were both very impressed with the quality. We'd read previous reviews that they were of excellent quality, folks were pleased, but install was mentioned, on more than one review, as not being easy. Cut to the chase: our deaf pitbull *loves* paper! During my shower the next morning, she took full advantage of the novelty of the package in the kitchen and proceeded to shred the directions beyond readable. However, my husband was able to install them easily (that means no swearing) in an afternoon.

Practical and Attractive

Reviewed By Byron W (Hamilton, MT) Reviewed for a 2011 Toyota 4Runner —12/3/2011 12:51 PM

My wife, who obviously hasn't loaded anything on a roof rack, wondered if I really needed running boards on our new 4Runner. Wouldn't they lower the gas mileage, too? Now that they're on even she admits the rig looks better ("more finished") and she uses them to get in and out. The best for me was the workmanship and installation instructions. Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were written by a native English speaker. A picture is worth a thousand words, especially if you've puzzled over diagrams drafted for the last design of an item.
