The brackets are not too difficult to install. It is helpful to have a second set of hands during the installation. After installation, I noticed a small dent on the passenger side bar and a much larger dent on the driver side bar. A customer service representative is trying to get Aries to replace them.

I bought these so my two year old daughter could get in and out of the car with ease. They work perfect for this . They were extremely difficult to install and I had a body shop do it. The directions were horrible to read also . It took them 6 hours to get them on but they look great on my car

Installation manual sucks- had a hard time figuring the first step as all is showing are pictures which are not very detailed with no acoompanying directions step/step.the front steps are bumpy compared to the back as it has the longer bracket.
