"Although my original plan was to get black( w/c was not available at time of purchase) the stainless one gave my Black Tacoma a clean look. Installation is easy, My 11 year old son insisted in helping me and it even made it easier. LOL. Good buy and experience from AA. Highly recommend it." —Garry L from Chesterfield, VA bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"These bars look great! Maybe the easiest installation I have ever done in my life.
One thing -- I did put Loctite on the bolts. I didn't want to over torque them.
For the first time ever -- my kids think I am 'with it'. Wow." —Mark Z from Annapolis, MD bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Access cab.
"The nerf bars arrived well-packaged in excellent condition 6 days after placing order. They installed easily with included hardware. However, I did install additional 3/16 inch thick shims between the bars and center mounts on both sides to keep the bars straight. The nerf bars look great and fit well without extending too far from the truck body. The polished stainless is blemish-free and is an excellent value for the relatively low price." —Mark T from Owasso, OK bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma.
"Purchased for a 2010 Tacoma double cab. I installed in the driveway in 20 degree Pa weather and it went very smooth. All holes lined up, finished in 45 minutes with just hand tools.
The appearance is great, just what I wanted since they do not stick out too far from the side of the truck. Something I do not like about others I have seen. That being said there is not a lot of clearance for a large foot. In my case that doesn't matter since I bought them mainly so my girlfriend didn't have such a hard time getting in and out of the truck, and they work fine for her. Overall and quality I only gave them "good" since I've only had them on for a couple weeks. So it remains to be seen how they hold up. But out of the box they are very nice." —Greg M from Cranberry Twp, PA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"These are not Smittybilt Nerf Steps! These are N-Fab Nerf Steps built by Smittybilt, or so the instructions say. It comes with a Smittybilt decal, but the N-Fab logo is on the steps. Really, it doesn't matter to me, I still like them, they look great, and they were easy to install. Just asking for a little truth in advertising." —Brandon P from Clemmons, NC bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"Good look and right size (diameter) for tacoma double cab. Easy to install, 10 min per side. Do not tighten any bolts until you have it all connected. My truck is Silver, and I think I should have gone with the back steps, but the chrome looks good too." —David D from Foxboro, MA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma.
"I've previously purchased Westin nerf bars from Auto-Anything and was very happy with them. I now have a 2010 dark gray Tacoma 4X4 and thought the black powdercoat nerf bars would look best on it. I got model 25-2675.
After some difficulty installing them (the way the nuts were threaded, once you tightened them a few turns they became very difficult to turn. But with a little extra "elbow grease" we got them installed good and tight) I must say, I think they look great.
Like the previous set I owned, they seem to be very well made and should last a long time." —Thomas B from Reno, NV bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Access cab.
"The nerf bars were easy to install and they add that finishing touch to the truck. They arrived extremely fast. I was expecting the nerf bars 5-7 days and they arrived in 2 full business days after I completed the order. The only con I have is that two of the brackets were a little scuffed up; probably occurred during shipping. The nerf bars were wrapped in plastic I would recommend the same for the brackets." —Jason C from Tampa, FL bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"Extremely easy to install. Installed them in less than 10 minutes per side. Now my kids can climb in and out with no problems. The color black blends in well with the tinted windows and bedliner black top cover." —Ernesto T from Saint Augustine, FL bought a Westin 3" E Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"Awesome Product. My 2010 Toyota Tacoma came w/ factory steps. They were terrible! The steelcraft steps were super easy to install. it only took 30 min to take the old ones off, and put the new ones on. They sit under the cab about an inch, which I love." —Kyle W from Brandon, MS bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
"There were 3 of us installing this but only really required 2. Bolts lined up perfect. Instructions I thought were a little vague but as simple this was to install really didn't need it anyways. Time to install was about 20 mins. After installation truck looks great. Value for the money was spot on too. I was keeping an eye out for these type of steps for awhile and the price about what I expect to pay for these steps. AutoAnything shipped this to me fast, only had to wait about 8 days. Box arrived in good condition and appreciated the extra bubble wrap around the steps." —Anthony P from Carrollton, VA bought a Smittybilt Nerf Steps for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, Double cab.
