not super easy install

Reviewed By Travis G (McCalla, AL) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tundra —12/19/2017 9:38 PM

The install is tedious anyways bc of having to run wires all over. My problem was that the wiring harness didn't have quite enough slack, so I had trouble mounting the control box where the instructions said. Also, the instructions tell you to install the boards first, but I had to take them back off to install the lights and hook up wires. Make sure they are all the way out when installing them first. It was also helpful to have a youtube clip to supplement the instructions. The boards R great!

Nearly 5 stars, if not for 2 things

Reviewed By Bill M (Frederick, MD) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tundra —10/18/2016 1:21 PM

Product shipped quick, good packaging. Easy install (1.25hrs), but fought 1 bracket for 20 min. After a few minor cuts due to the sharp edge on the bottom of the boards, I decided the gloves included in the packaging were a good idea. Product sturdy and well built. Looks good. Gripes: 1) sharp edge on the bottom. After careful install, watch out later when washing/drying. They should roll or cover that edge! 2) I wish the front steps extended further back. I'm 6'2" with seat far back.

Very Grippy

Reviewed By Christopher J (FRUITA, CO) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tundra —6/12/2016 9:19 PM

I've had these on my Tundra for about 1 month now and so far I love 'em. They are very grippy and I don't feel like I'm going to slip or slide at all. I have 2 kids that we need to maneuver and get bucked in and I feel very sturdy doing so. I think these will be wonderful in the winter as I have slipped off of normal tube steps in the winter. Installation was pretty simple, I did most of it at night working under a light.
