Both bars has small dents in same location out of box. Instructions OK, not great. Not as secure as round tubes I've head in past. They seem to flex more with weight on them that the old round bars too. The step pad had to be thoroughly cleaned out of box but has stayed nice since. Haven't had to endure winter yet.

Aries 6" Oval Nerf bars themselves look good, and are a good size, providing stable footing with well positioned, tacky, rubber pads. Mine came with two mounting brackets per bar. Adequate, but not as stable as the OE. When installed, the bars "splay" out, moving from back to front, not parallel to vehicle frame. The brackets set them high off the ground, requiring a big first step for entry, rather than a helpful intermediate step. Mounting hardware visible under bars.

Installation was easy with marginal instructions. Took less than an hour to complete. It was the second set of bars the first were damaged but they sent out a new set with no issues. Look great.

They look very nice on the truck. I thought they would stick too far out as they are wider than most. The width is perfect. Comes out far enough to give a good purchase getting in and out of my truck.I did put traction tape on the plastic steps. Received 10 MM clip nuts instead of the 8 MM. Called them and they sent the correct ones out.Mounting brackets that bolt onto truck 3 of them fit and the other had to have the upper slot extended. Don't know who was at fault, GMC or Aries
