The running boards are very strong with heavy brackets. They should last a long time. They look great on the car--very natural like they came with the car. They don't stick out too far to bother you if you don't use them, but are wide enough for a good toe-hold if you do use them.
Running boards are too far under the car

I read the reviews and all were pretty good. When they came in they are very strong and of good quality. But, after they were installed they are so far under the car that they are hardly useful. They are extended as far as they can go. I'm surprised that no one has posted this issue. I called to see if there was an extension that could be added or any advise on what to do. They said it is what it is.
EGR side step running boards

The running boards are nice and look and work very well. The only complaint that I have is that the attachment bolts that must be captured in a hole in the frame would be much better served if they would provide a stud and nut instead of a bolt. It is very difficult to start the bolts as it must be done by feel. Putting the retainer in and then being able to thread a stud in and finish with the washers and nut would be much easier. Also, these holes on my car were filled with foam.
