The installation was easy except I broke 1 of the spring clips from overtightening (my fault). I love the look of these and they feel strong with the 4 mtg brackets. Just hope the black holds up for awhile in the northeast winters.

they look very nice when installed. they would have been less springy if there was a middle brace. the main problem is the hardware supplied is not completely suitable for this truck. the y pieces have 3/8 nuts welded on and the truck has 5/16 nuts welded to truck so the y pieces can't be used as designed.if the hardware was correct the installation would have been easy.instead of 45 min. it took 3 to 4 hrs. to install due to improvising.this was installed on a 2016 ram ext. cab short bed.
