Putco Nerf Bars Reviews

I put these on my wife's 06 Dodge Megacab 2WD. She absolutely LOVES them! The meaty diameter and long length are perfectly compliment the truck's proportions. The instructions were a bit challenging for this beginner, but I still managed to do it myself in about 1 hour.

Let me start by saying that, I'm pretty good with tools. The installation instruction sheet should be more than one picture and little LARGER print. And quality control should be little better. The driver front support and passenger front support bracket's were misstamped with each others numbers. The plastic end caps on the nerf bars,there holes weren't centered.Don't take me wrong,the Boss 4" bars are really nice looking on my truck.I just think the instructions could be better.

These Putco Oval's really look good on the truck, there wide step width give a stable footing entering or exiting the vehicle. The instructions where a little vague, they lack detail which adds to length of time it takes to install (at least the first side). Also my kit had an entire extra set of support brackets that added to the confusion. Overall I am pleased with them, we'll just have to see how they stand up to the elements over time.
