$300 Bars...

$300 bars with a $700 price tag. Weld spatter everywhere, bent mount, wire mesh tack welded just enough to hold it on, very very cheap powdercoating. Definitely not the quality control nor the build quality that one would expect at this price point...lesson learned. At least they look good from a distance.

Had to wait about two weeks, but man o man was it worth the wait. These are by far the best looking bars out there. They are very sturdy and installation was a breeze. I would definately recommend.

RBP RX-3 Steps - '13 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4

Reviewed by Kai E (MANHATTAN, KS) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma — Nov 11, 2013 7:39 AM

I really like the look of these steps on my Tacoma. Installation was very easy, but there was only one bolt hole in the frame to attach the front mount. The holes all lined up really well, it just has one bolt holding on the front mount whereas the middle and rear mounts have two bolts. I don't see this as a big problem right now. Seems sturdy and does not move. Would just be nice to have two bolts holding the front mount. Overall I am very happy with them so far and would purchase again.

AutoAnything did great, steps are ok at best.

AutoAnything customer service was good, even with multiple delays in shipping. RBP quality is not at all what I expected for their pricing. The steps had bad weld splatter that RBP just coated over. The coating was chipping/flaking off in large chunks all around the braces where the steps bolt up. I don't expect the coating to last very long at all, which simply means that I'm going to have to fork out several hundred dollars to recoat some already expensive steps. RBP not impressed!

A rugged look and sturdy too

Put these on my 2013 Sierra crew cab. I got the cab length version, and the install took less than an hour. Lines right up with factory bolt holes. More than enough hardware supplied. I used some of the washers to space the bars up to a higher mount position to get them closer to the truck body. I picked these because they stick out from the truck body enough to guard my paint from rock chips off the 35" tires. Also guard against parking lot door dings. Adds an aggressive look to the 6" lift

I ordrerd my RBP RX-3 bars for my 2013 Dodge Ram Quad Cab on July 31 2013, I waited until September 17 to finally receive. These bars are made once they are ordered expect to wait for them. I am very mechanically inclined so install was ok, someone who isn't probally will have a hard time, they do require drilling some mounting holes in your vehicle to install. Overall they are one hell of an addition to my truck. Very happy with the construction. time to receive very unhappy!!

I will never buy another RBP product again

The installation instructions and provided hardware did not fit the truck as they described. (the provided U-nuts were too short) RBP never responded to E-mails or phone calls. When Auto Anything attempted to help RBP still would not call me. They did try to pawn me off on an independent installer who I'm sure would have taken a grinder to my truck. RBP has no integrity when it comes to customer service. I will not buy any more of their products. BEWARE!!!!!!!!
