It took about 45 minutes to install the first side, only about 15 to install the second. The instructions are not that helpful. Laying out all of the parts and matching the various screws, nuts, washers is the best way to get ready to install. The bars seem a little too snug to the body to really provide much ingress/egress assistance, but time will tell. I already see that my pants rub against it, so winter will be fun. Lastly, I was a little disappointed to see some of the powder coating flacking off one of the brackets. The metal is very hefty, so the flacking powder coat is an appearance issue, not a safety issue. I did not have to drill any holes, just used exisitng ones in the framce and body panels. I do like the look.

First, I was impressed by Westin's packaging. Too often today you receive products that are delivered in poorly packaged surplus boxes with inadequate packing. The Westin packaging was excellant and all parts were secured inside the box to prevent shifting and damage. All components were in new condition with no scratches, etc. Installation was very easy. All mounting brackets fit and all installation parts were present. Bar alignment was easy, but you need two people to do the final tightening to make sure the bar was aligned correctly. At completion the overall appearance was excellant and the step bars were very sturdy and durable. Would recommend the black powdered coated bars for light colored vehicles.

These Romik Running Boards are really nice. They look great on my 2010 Toyota Highlander and should keep me safe if my accelerator should stick and I go flying into a wall.Kidding aside, the directions were really poor. Portions of them refer to color coding to describe parts in which none of the parts are color coded? You will also need some fender washers when attaching the boards to your vehicle. I tried to call the owner because some hardware was missing and he said he would mail the 35 cent nuts and bolts to me, which never happened and I wasn't going to wait anyway. Overall, very happy, just a little frustrated because it shouldn't have taken so long to install, 2.5 hours. Very bad directions!!

I bought the stainless step, and it installed very easily on my 2007 Silverado 2500. I was impressed by the thick gauge of steel on the supports - much stronger than most steps. I don't think the sheet metal screws were very supportive because they just did not do a good job of torquing up. So, might need to add some rivets later if it comes loose. But, the 2 bolts provided for the lower part of the supports were very strong. Bolted nicely to my truck. Wife & I are each close to 220 & 300 lbs, so these were great, sturdy steps that we needed.

These bars were easy to install and look great. I did have to tweak the install with some fender washers on the passenger side rear most mount to get the alignment parallel with the truck. Although a single piece may eliminate that, the two piece per side fitment is very good.Overall, the units look part of the truck, and do not hang out in space like some afterthought.
