Beefy look and sturdy

Very reasonable installation, watching and laying out each bracket that was nicely stamped. The clear plastic retainers are simple and smart to assist in the bolt/bracket insertion. The flex seen when a heavy guy like me steps on them is not the nerf bars. It is the sheet metal body perimeter frame that it bolts to. The flex is very minor and is simply normal for this type of attachment. The brackets are 10 or 12 gauge steel and do not bend at all. The set is well designed, reflect high quality.
Odd fit. Seems to work

I bought the SS nerf bars to replace rusted out bars from prior owner. The drop shipment was unexpectedly delayed by the manufacturer by almost 3 weeks. Hardware is decent, the finish is good, seems okay so far. Easy to install but the step-pad location made more sense with the bars reversed. Pads are oddly placed close to the front of the doors. As another reviewer mentioned, they don't drop down more than a few inches below the rockers, leaving little room for a toe-hold. Jury is still out.
