I chose these due to the reputation of Steelcraft in online reviews, and I'm pleased with the product. The mounting brackets are factory welded to form one single strong unit, unlike some other brands which require the buyer to bolt each bracket together from separate pieces. Installation was straightforward (with the use of a lift) using simple tools, but you will need a deep socket for the 6 main nuts and bolts. Took me about 3 hours. Good value at the price.

    Rusted out after 3 years.

I was very happy with these for 3 years, but now they look awful as they are rusting out from the inside/edges of the tubes. Although cheap, another example of you get what you pay for. If it were not for the paint rusting off, they would have been 5 stars.

    Unbelieveably awesome!

I had been looking at the Factory OEM step bars at our local Nissan dealer for my Frontier and was gearing up for the purchase when my wife sent me a link to these Steelcraft step bars. At first I had reservations thinking that these bars would weigh more than the factory bars and the fact that I was unable to find relevant pictures showing the Steelcraft bars on a late model Nissan Frontier. I purchased these and installed them immediately and couldn't be happier. See the pictures!!
