2nd truck,2nd set of westin step bars. I like the platinum series to the higher quality of metal and corrosion resistance (very good for salted roads). Very happy w/overall quality.

I'm a very experienced mechanic, but these seemed to be more difficult to install than other nerf bars I have installed. The instructions on nerf bars are never that good, but these from Westin seem to be even worse. Westin nerf bars are definitely more expensive and I was expecting better instructions. The mounting brackets are slotted, but I had to shift the front and rear brackets as far apart as possible, and the bolts for the nerf bars barely hit their holes.

Positive 1st. These bars look excellent once they are installed. Had a set on a Tacoma for 10 years! No rust, they held up well and still shined when I sold the truck! The negative... This is not auto anythings fault by any means but I solely blame Westin. Frustrating install! Hardware was missing bolts and had bolts and clips that didn't even fit the truck or the bars themselves! After 2 trips to the local hardware store, I finally got the correct hardware. The LAST Westin product I will buy!

Easy install, although I had to straighten the rocker panel surface from the previous owner crashing the bar I took off. The fit and finish are excellent....really good looking bars. I had a very small ding in one of the bars, but not significant to notice unless you get down to scrutinize them. But I am extremely satisfied with them. If I could change one thing, it would be to extend the brackets about 1/2 to 1 inch....they could stick out that much farther for an optimum "foot hold".

These Westin nerf bars look great on my 2015 Chevy Silverado and my Wife and grandkids like them, since they make it so they can get into the truck much easier on their own. Installation was a breeze, but it would have gone just a little bit faster if they had labeled which bar was which, since they are side specific. These bars are a close fit to the Chevy molded mud flaps I installed on my truck, but they do not touch. I would recommend these bars and I would buy them again if I was in the
