The Corolla commuters of the world might be able to go a few hundred extra miles between oil services, but real racers never take chances with their chariots. Too much is riding on their powerplant to let a simple oil filter stand between them and the checkered flag. Revive your ride's lubing system with K&N Inline Oil Filter Replacement Cartridges.
Designed to pair perfectly with your Inline Oil Filter, these K&N Inline Replacement Cartridges are engineered for grueling track conditions. The stainless steel mesh filter medium traps a ton of contaminants before they gunk up your motor, and the Viton rubber seals ensure a leak-free fit under the hood.
Synthetics, blends, and old-school 10W-40—your K&N Replacement Oil Filters work with just about every oil out there. They come in a range of filtration strengths, from 25 microns up to 100 microns for up to 18gpm of flow. And, they're covered by a warranty against defects.

I will be the 1st to admit I have not a clue on how to work on cars. I know that my oil filter that I have always seen was about 3 in across and 5 inches tall. Is this a 2nd filter or what is this product actually for I am a little lost here because the picture on this page doesn't look anything like the oil filter on my car. Thanks sorry for the dumb question

Hi, Cars have 1 of 2 of oil filter types that do the same thing. One type is a metal cylinder that screws on a nipple on the side of the engine (spin-on) and the other is a filter screen that fits in an enclosed can with a lid (canister-style filter). What you see here is the a canister-type oil filter for k&n's custom oil/fuel filter assembly, which is not a direct, OEM filter replacement. Take a look at this filter after selecting your vehicle information, the picture that pops up below should look familiar. K&N Pro Series Oil Filterflag Accept Answer
