"Auto Anything had the absolute best price on this product. I was dissappointed with the performance of this this product. I used one for my '06 5.9L CTD and had awesome improvement just on the towing mode, but I cannot tell any difference on the 6.7L CTD. I feel like it was a waste of money for me and my truck, but would recommend it for the older 5.9L CTD."

"I purchased the Bully Dog a few weeks ago and used it in my 2007 2500HD Silverado. I traveled to Cody, Wyoming from my home in Columbus,Ohio and towed a 16 foot trailor. I used the Bully Dog in all of the modes and I got my best mileage by running it in the Performance mode. I averaged between 14 1/2 and 15 miles per gallon running at 70 mph. When I returned home I drove the truck on another trip without the trailor and at 55 mph I averaged 25.1 and at 65 mph I averaged 23.4 miles per gallon. Overall it increased my mileage from 17 miles per gallon. My truck now has alot more horse power. I would recommend this product very highly to anyone and have done so."

"I am only getting 1MPG more but the throttle response is excellent and the extra torque for towing is very noticable. I put it back to stock to get warranty work done, and it was a completly different truck."

"After installing the "Power Pup" in my 2008 Gmc Sierra HD 2500 Crew Cab SRW Duramax, there is a definite increse in power with a modest increase in fuel mileage (about 1 mpg towing). My boat is about 13,000# and is towed 72 miles each way. It's very "hilly" where I live and it seems to pull easier. It gained about 4 mpg on the highway. Truck is not broke-in yet, only 3500 miles. This is with the "tow" mode installed. Have not tried other settings. Rear tires are wearing out very quickly."

"I bought the Bully Dog for better gas mileage and it delivered. I expected an abrupt change, and there wasn't. But after two weeks, I am averaging 4 mpg better mileage! This product is worth the money - it will pay for itself in a few month's time. I have already recommended this to others. We did research before we bought and I think this is the best product for the money."

"I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel and man oh man it unleashes your true power. I only found one problem with the programer and it is you better be ready to buy yourself new tires! Also I gained about 6 to 8 mpg even on the extreme download setting."

"Great product. The installation was easy. I came with the latest software version. Swapping the power levels is quick and easy. The 80 HP upgrade actaully gets better fuel milage then the 50 HP. My 2008 Chevy 3500 Express van with Duramax went from 16 MPG highway to 18 to 21 MPG depending on headwind. With cruise set at 72 MPH on a 100 mile one way trip. I haven't had a lot of city driving yet. Its been around 12 to 13.5 mpg but I have a hard time keeping my foot out of it at stop lights. Going to try the 50 hp in the city. Well worth the money on the highway, I'm sure the city mpg will get better when I learn throttle control."

"I set the Bully Dog for 91 octane, it gave my truck a lot more power and i've already noticed a differance of three miles to the gallon. But i must admit it would do better if i could drive like a normal person, i just cant help but to get on it all the time. Very good product, I love it Thanks auto anything!!!"

"TRYING TO DO A DOWNLOAD FOR ME WAS VERY 'TRYING'. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO GET THE 'AGENT' ONTO MY PC BECAUSE OF NOT HAVING 'WARP SPEED' IN MY COMPUTER, AND, AFTER THAT, I COULD STILL NOT ACCESS THE UPDATES. I LATER FOUND THAT MY BULLYDOG 'PUP' HAD THE LATEST DOWNLOAD FOR MY 6.7 CUMMMINS. THIS WAS MY SECOND BULLYDOG AS I HAD ONE FOR MY PREVIOUS TRUCK THAT HAD A 5.9 CUMMINS. EVERYTHING WORKED OUT, BUT I STILL WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE 'UPDATE' PROCESS SIMPLIFIED FOR US NON-NERDS, BUT DIE-HARD PERFORMANCE BUFFS! JD, LAREDO,TX."

"I like the Power Pup because there are no wires to hook up or holes to drill.I can return it to stock before I take my truck to the dealer for service and I can change tire sizes easily.I have only had it installed 2 weeks on performance setting. It is hard to drive with a light foot right now so mileage is the same. The power is unreal. I have a manual transmission and I upshift at 1400-1500 rpm.Even on 6th gear 1000 rpm it still accelerates.I had a pyrometer installed and pulling a 12,000 lb load up a steep hill on performance setting it just briefly touches 1200F."

"The Power Pup gave made a noticeable increase in power without an added exhuast or intake. I have now added a flowmaster truck muffler and have seen a little more power. I'm installing a K&N intake today, so hopefully that will Unleash the rest of the power. All in all, I would say that it was the best bang for the buck. Highly recommended."

"After receiving the Pwr Pup I found out that it could not do the max speed program for the Duromax LMM engine. I also use a Macintosh and could not "up-date" the software which came with the Pwr Pup. Asked a friend who uses Windows and he found it impossible to access all of the necessary, on line programs in order to up date software. Very buggy. Why can't the Pwr Pup be sold with the current software version? Having said all of that, it did make a bid difference in HP and torque."
