Notes

  • Superchips suggests using 91 or 93 octane gasoline to get the maximum power gain with their performance programmers.

"I have a 2005 Chevy 3500 duramax, with the max micro tuner superchip. It is set on the performance tow mode, and I have experienced a significant horsepower and torque increase, but the amazing part is that Im getting 24-25 mpg highway driving! ISNT THAT AMAZING!!!"

"I would like to say that the Super Chip Programmer is great. I have substantial torque increase along with horsepower. Also I have a slight increase on my gas mileage. I have a 2004 Silverado with a 5.3L V8 and I'am very impressed with everything. My next investment is a Supercharger so let me know when you guys get some in for my truck."

2005 F-250 Superchips

"I haven't had much time to play with it, although, I did take it out on Economy, High Performance, and Tow Safe within a week. The Economy looks to be giving me 5-8 mpg more than without. The High Performance was just to see what it would do and I have to say, it spins 3 lines at the start and also into 2nd and 3rd. Tow Safe was pulling about 14000 lbs through the mountains, and had reasonable mpg but could really feel the improved shift changes and torque."

"Easy to use, however not worth the money spent. Used it on a 2005 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab with 5.3 V8. Noticed no difference in power increase and the truck did not run as well. Returned truck to stock setting and is performing well."

"I have not had much time to test this completely but thus far it seems to be a good purchase. Helped the power in first gear take off and seems to have helped mileage. Only bad thing is that I can not change trans. shift pressure. Tech said not an option on my truck...Will continue playing to get best results."

"THIS IS THE SECOUND MAX TURNER I HAVE PURCHASED ONE FOR MY 99 CHEY 4X4 CREW CAB LIFTED WITH 35'S AND IT WOKE THAT MOTOR UP IT NOW RUNS GREAT THE VETTE HAD THE SAME RESULTS ALTHOUGH IT WAS EXTREMELY FAST BEFORE I CAN TELL THAT IT HAS MORE TORQUE AND RAW POWER THAN BEFORE AND I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN ADJUST THE SHIFT POINTS AND FIRMNESS. "Works well with K&N Air Filter and Magnaflow exhaust. Sounds even better at start up and while accelerating. Transmission shift points and rpm rev limiter raised are much improved. Using 91 octane performance setting. Not sure about mileage yet, but seems to be about same."

"The main reason for the purchase of this tuner was to recalibrate the speedo after adding 35"tires. After tuning the engine, I admit it will have to stay. I've gotten up to 4 mpg better since the tuner was added!"
