"I have a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a 5.9L engine. I guess I was hoping for better performance and better fuel mileage, and now that I think about it, perhaps would run contrary to the laws of physics. I chose to keep the 87 octane setting and I do think I might have picked up another mile per gallon. It does seem like the truck is a tad more sluggish. The stock setting had more pep (I think). And probably more yet if I had chosen the performance setting and run premium."

"The biggest improvement you'll see are in the shifting. No more soft shifts. Somewhat better throttle response and no more rev limiter. Well worth the money in opinion."

"After easily programming my truck, the throttle response was INCREDIBLY NOTICEABLE. My truck is a hell of a lot quicker and the tranny shifts alot firmer. I would highly recommend this product to EVERYONE."

"Bought the Superchip for my '01 auto 5.9 Ltr Ram. Haven't had a chance to test out the Performance Tow mode, but do have my truck set on the Performance mode. The Superchip definately helped. Have to be a little more careful on the takeoffs now, cause she won't think twice about turning the tires over! Also, I like the adusted shift pattern. When hard on the gas the rpms run right up to with a few hundred of the redline, much like you would with a stick shift. Another plus is the ability to adjust the odometer, speedometer, and ABS according to your tize size. The Superchips Max also works as a diagnostics tool - very handy! On top of all that it DID improve my gas milage!"

"dont really know how well this product works on the explorer but on the ranger this is the best money that i have spent on a product in a while improves all of the places that count the biggest one being fuel economy gave me two more miles to the gallon both road and freeway seems hard on the pocket book but with gas prices that will soon be relieved"

"I would like to share my experience with this product. I bought the product to giveme that added push when on the highway or making quick moves. This product has offered that plus more. I can actually feel the tranmission shifting beautifully, and the lack of a speed limiter on my avalanche is great! I never knew my avalanche could keep pushing even after 100, it seemed as if it still had an additional gear available. Easy to use and change from performance to stock, thank you."

"I love this thing. It made a world of difference in how the truck runs. I don't know if the fuel mileage improved that much or not, but I love the way it preforms. I'll have a hard time getting a good fuel mileage reading on it because I can't keep my foot out of it."

"installed High performance mode 1st,GOBS and GOBS of power,still had slight lag on throttle,tried tow/performance next.Absolutely unreal! instant responce on throttle and tons of power.Can't beleive its a diesel.HIGHLY recomended. Can't wait to tow the boat this summer!"

"I received good, quick service from AUTOANYTHING and installed my Superchips MAX Microtuner on my 2001 Ram OFF-ROAD with ease. There is a difference that is noticeable on the first drive. I pull a 30 foot Travel Trailer and the tow setting has changed the power RPM band for better results."

"I love the fact that this unit will show diagnostics for the vehicle. Beyond that, It does do what is advertised. Milage has gone up Slightly, better hole shot, However on my particular vehicle some of the options were unavailable like shifting RPM. That's a bummer. If you can keep your foot out of it after using it's a great tool to have. Very easy to use."

"I had a Superchip (1999) that pluged into the computer & later, on a service call, The Ford dealer reset the computer and the chip never worked again. I am able to set this one back to factory which is much better. I have to set it to the lower setting because I am pulling a 30 foot 5th wheel, 9000 lbs. I normally get 20 mpg on my 99 F-250 7.3 Diesel unloaded and 10 mpg pulling the trailer. Yesterday I plulled a flat bed loaded with a 85 Dodge ram 400 miles and I got 16.666 mpg. The auto tran did't shif nearly as often and I had considerable more poower. We will see when the 9,000 lb. 5th wheel is pulled this summer."

"I have a 04 Mustang GTS with factory supercharger. This car was quick of the line but suffered severe 1st and 2nd syndrome, The gears were so close that I would usually start in 2nd if someone got a little fiesty. Now with the superchip programmer, this thing can chirp the tires in 5 gears (5th is an exageration, but you know what I mean. This tuner has unleashed the full capability of this car. I am thrilled with the purchase, a little pricey, but for my ride I will bite the bullet. I highly recommend for GT, GTS, Cobra, MachI and even 6 cylinder mustnags. Plenty happy with mine!!"

"Increased performance was noticeable as soon as I turned on the truck, once on the road/highway significant gains were obvious! As a plus, my gas mileage has increased 3-4 mpg since the new addition, this is huge increase since the addition of a 4" lift and 35" tires. I can't believe I waited so long to purchase this product, results are immediate!"

"WOW!!! My Powerstroke definitely received a wake up call after installing the programmer. I am very pleased w/ the product. However, I was expecting a little better fuel mileage as I am running on "economy" mode but still satisfied w/ 1.5 - 2 MPG increase. Maybe when I lose the urge to "feel the power" I will get even better MPG. Makes driving alot more enjoyable."
