2003 dodge ram hemi

"I was surprised how easy it was to tune the vehicle to what I wanted. I went with the performance upgrade and the shifting is much better that it was before. The rev adjustement changes the way the truck Idles. The Code reeder feature is awsome to have and i will use it all the time. The code reader part of the 3715 programmer coud save me a bunch of money at any automotive shop. When I decided to go with the performance tune, it was because I already had the cold air intake and the performance exaust done to the truck Superchips programmer is highly recomended and superchips themselves have been around long enough to know how to get the most horsepower and torque out of your vehicle."

"I was very impressed with the HP gain from this product. I have had performance chips in my older cars and notice some difference but with this bad boy it is very obvious you not only get at 3.8mpg on the highway at 70mph but 5 to 6mpg better in the city...at least I have :) The HP gain is probably the most noticable. It seems as though the engine runs more smoothly and revs slightly faster with a better low-end power band on my '04 GTO. I would definitely recommend this programmer as best bang for tha buck!"

2000 Grand Cherokee 4.7L

"I have a K&N intake and Gibson cat-back on my 4.7L and wanted to get more out of the computer. I had originally gone for the Jet tuner but that was a nightmare seeing that it requires cutting under the hood so I decided to go with Superchips. Simply put its amazing, I plugged it in and within 15 minutes I was on the road having a blast. The low end kick is fantastic, the shifts are rock solid, it makes the intake and exhaust sound a little more aggressive, and what impresses me most is the unbelievable uphill acceleration it doesn't even need to shift. It was all worth it to me when I lit up the tires for the first time off the line. Anybody with a Mopar 4.7 needs this tuner its the best $300 you can put in your SUV or pickup. I am currently trying to talk my stepfather into getting one for his Hemi. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

Works Well

"To fix the issue on my 3.9L V6 Dakota this was it. The shift points being real early, now gone. Haven't really noticed a whole lot of extra power but there does seem to be a slight increase in midrange. Overall it's a good product but I don't think that it needs to be so expensive... Only downside to it really was the price."

Lives up to its claim

"I purchased this tuner to improve performance towing a camper. With the towing tune it helps. A certain route I travel has some hills that would take about 1 1/2 inches more throttle to climb. With the tuner program they now take only 1/2 - 3/4 inch more, so it definately has more power. With the performance program I actually have to be a bit carefull so I don't spin the tires. I haven't had the opportunity to use the economy tune yet, but with the performance tune, if I drive normal, I get about 1.5mpg more. If I had to do it all over I would purchase another Superchips tuner."

"Well worth the money! Improved fuel economy and shifting points. I had slip in the transmission in between gears but the Superchip has completely eliminated the slip by the altered shift points. It was a common tranny problem I know for this body and year Dodge pickup. Overall, a very satisfied customer!"

"easy 10 min install, noticable torque and horsepower increase. Ran 3 tanks of fuel through it before i noticed any differance in fuel milage, have seen a slight increase of about 3 mpg in the city and about 6 on the highway. All in all I am really glad i bought it and happy with the results..."

"Used the Superchips MAX on my 2001 Grand Marquis. Noticed a very small difference on 0-60. Noticed a better difference on highway when passing. With the price of gas these days the 91 octane option is not worth it. It's not worth the money you pay for it. Over rated product. It was simple to use."

"I am not the typical "car guy". Even though I know how, I do not do my own oil changes. This was very easy to install, I think it took me a total of twenty minutes. I followed the onscreen prompts and instructions. The change in truck response was immediate. I feel like I'm driving a totally different vechicle. Truck used to never get above 5000 rpm. I opened it up on day and was pushing 6500 through first and second. I hit a nice crusing speed of 65ish (read 80) in before third! Can't wait to show my little brother and his 05 mustang. Fuel economy is a little better, still calculating gain. I highly recomend this product!"

"I have a 00 dodge dakota with a 4.7 v8 and I did have a stage 1 chip from jet in it but I bought bigger tires so I wanted the ability to program my truck for that so I bought the superchips micro tuner. It was the best $300 I have spent for my truck. I programed my truck for the perfromance setting and it feels like I put a rocket under it. The shifts are much firmer and it gets off the line much faster now. I would recomend this programer to anyone."

"easier to program than the instructions are to read and understand. I set up for 87 oct.raised shift point and pressure.noticable low end torqe, better on hills.have not used high octane performance or performance tow settings but are sure to show even more power."

Easy Installation

"No Tools required. It was user friendly and easy to install. Took 10 minutes. I was thingking about getting a Jet Performance chip that attaches to the computer box, but what a pain and hassle to get to it and having to remove it. Superchip is the way to go. No hassle, no fuss, a little more expensive but worth it."

"It was easy to use. It works with the performance tow program. I tried the performance program and got a lot of "pinging",so I had to switch. That was upsetting to me. Other than that Im happy with product. Also enjoy the ability to check and clear codes,good idea."
