"2.87 miles to gal gain in safe tow, cooler running temps, noticeable power gain mile per gal gain, dropped a little in stage 2 truck runs a bit on warm side pulling a loaded trailer ( 6 tons ) stage 3 high performance is (WILD)"

"I purchased this on my birthday and WOW what a gift it was! It changed my performance on top of all the other extras I have on my truck. K&N 77, Throddle body spacer, Flowmaster Exhaust, and much more. But the SUPERCHIP actually changed the way it goes though the gears, when it shifts and aquiring the speed and acceleration I was looking for. I can also use it as a scanner to trouble shoot my Ford F150 or any other Ford. It seemed like it was alot @ the time but I am comfortable with what I payed and the out come. The sales rep I had was outstanding! He got this item on his hands and held it for me until I got to the main office. At that point he matched a comp. price on the spot and out the door I went. It was a painless experience and very good to do business with Anything Auto"

"seem to get best bang for the buck running the 91 octane setting. I drove from md to florida, had it set for 87 on the way down in my ford f250 superduty, with the 5.4 engine. got around 13.8-14.5 mpg. Set it to 91 octane setting for the ride home, and averaged 14.5-16mpg!"

Superchips Tuner on my F-150 Super Crew

"I have been having a lot of fun since I installed the "performance" program on my truck. The shifts are very crisp, and the truck is definetely quicker than before. I am adding a cold air intake that I just bought from you guys, and already have a K&N airfilter, & flowmaster exhaust. The tuner was worth the few dollars that it cost. The only suggestion that I have is that the instructions be a little more comprehensive when asking for the tire size. This was a bit nebulous until I got my measuring tape out and figured out what my actual tire height was. All and all this is a good product. STay tuned for when I get the cold air intake this week...I'll amend this review as appropriate. You may have to add a 6th star!"

"This programmer is well worth it if you plan on doing a few other modifications. As for me, I put on a Magnaflow cat-back dual exit exhaust, a Volant cold air intake kit with scoop, and some Pacesetters headers. After putting on the forementioned mods, I plugged this baby in and it made a huge difference. You can just feel it when you step on the gas. Some people will say there is no difference but all I can say for those people is pick up a copy of the magazines "Street Trucks" and "Sport Trucks". They have rated this product as excellent. Thank you AutoAnything"

Noticeable difference

"I bought a 4.6L V8 in my Ford F-150 XLT 4WD in order to have better fuel economy than my 5.4L brethren - since I don't tow or haul a lot. Normally you sacrifice performance with better gas mileage but thanks to the easy-to-use Superchips Max I now have a little bit of both worlds. I have not checked my gas mileage yet because I'm having too much fun driving what feels like a new truck after installing an Airaid cool air induction kit, Flowmaster Force II cat-back exhaust and Superchips performance tune. Installing the Superchips program could not be easier, just plug it in and follow the directions. If you read and push buttons you're good to go - literally."

"Overall I'm pretty happy with the Superchips. It is very easy to use, and I've already used it to identify and clear DTCs on other Yukons. I also installed a K&N air induction system and dual exhaust. Combined, all three have had a great effect on power and mileage...literally a 22.5% increase in mileage."

Need More Power

"I was expecting to notice a huge increase. Not the case the bigest thing I have noticed is the difference in the shifting. Maybe for a 2001 Chevy Pu the increases are not that noticible. The price is pretty high for what it has done to my vehicle."

"I am happt with the product. It does exactly what is advertised. I can feel the sharper shifts and good increase in power. It is very easy to use. Be sure to find the fuel pump fuse in the owners manual. I highly recommend this product."

"The tuner has improved the power, shifting and helped slightly on the mileage. Now I just need to keep my foot out of the throttle! I tow a skidloader occasionally and the profiles are easily switched. Bravo Superchips!"

"I installed the program in 87 octane mode and I didn't notice an improment. then I changed it to performance mode and i adjist the shift point from 1-2(4MPH), 2-3(10MPH),3-4(10MPH)and I noticed a lot of improvement."

"Once I received unit, Vehicle had been taken previously back to dealer for a recall. I then had to send back to Superchip for a update. One week later it was install and a huge differance in power. I am very satisfied with this unit and would suggest it to everyone. I have not had time to check mileage at this time."

"i used this on my 2004 Roush Mustang and it is awesome. The most noteciable improvement is the throttle response. It is absolutely incredible. This is the cheapest the the safest way to make extra horsepower. I would definetly recommend this to anyone who wants to shave time off their e.t. or just have a extra little somethin comming out of the corner. It was very easy to install, heck if I could do it anyone could. Also I looked all around and AutoAnything has the absolute lowerst price, anywhere. Thanks again"

"I installed the programmer and an S&B air intake and noticed much improvement. The throttle response is much better and adjusting the revlimiter and shift points made a huge difference. As of now it is still set on the 87 octane setting. Looking forward to jumping it up once the tank runs dry."

"Great tuner, got rid of the stock program which was very poor (Death Flash). No ping so far with 87 program. The only thing I would like to have on this tuner is the ability to change shift points which is not available. Other than that, it was money well spent for me. Best bang for the buck out there."

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee v8

"Using the 91 Performance setting, I downloaded the settings in about 6 minutes then noticed an immediate difference. The throttle is much more responsive and the shift points are SOOOOO much better timed (cannot emphasize enough!!) to allow for increased performance during acceleration. Disappointed with inability to alter RPM shift points and change tire size (for accurate speedometer reading) as I run larger than stock tires (this is a problem with only select vehicles, but not with others), but was happy to be able to remove the governor on maximum speed limit (not that I'll ever go that fast). Works well with my modified cold air intake (K&N FIPK) and after market exhaust (all 3" pipe and aftermarket muffler and cat). The performance gains, as evidence from dyno charts, are far greater with a Superchips programmer than other brands."
