"Huge performance gain, mainly mid to top end. Noticeable difference with the Stage 2 kit. 180F thermostat really helps!! My guess is that for V8 users, you won't notice as much of a power gain. Bottom line: Buy this product and do the stage 2 work, its beyond worth it!!"

Worth the money

"Only took minutes to install. My gas milage jump up on the computer as soon as it restarted the car. My Jeep is alot faster, has more power and is even more enjoyable to drive"

"I purchased this chip for my 06' Ram 1500 v6 truck. There are very few chips for this model engine. I was hoping for an increase in performance, increased gas mileage, and more horsepower. I'm still on my first tank of gas since I put this chip in, and I will say this: 1. I noticed the shiftpoints changed quite a bit and I like it. My truck no longer shifts 3 times for me to get to 40mph. Instead, it seems like such a smooth transition that I barely even notice it. 2. I'm at half a tank of gas right now and if all stays the same I'll have travelled 365 miles on one fill up. That means I would have gained 1MPG just by placing this chip in. Not bad. 3. The installation was very easy, so easy in fact that after the first day with the chip in, my truck stalled and I had to pull over to reseat the chip again. I was so excited the night before that I put the chip in with a flashlight and I didn't snap the JET module into the PCM hard enough. It was a simple fix, and had I not been so anxious I'm sure this incident would have never happened. 4. This chip has be believing that my little Ram V6 can now start behaving like a V8, so more mods like a K&N filter and possibly a flowmaster will soon accompany this performance module! All in all, I think this chip is worth it."

Jet Chip - Not too impressed

"I bought this Stage II Jet Chip for my Jeep. I thought I would get a little bit more oommph for this $200+ chip. Maybe it takes a few tanks of gas to really affect anything. I do notice that it pulls harder all through the rev range though."

"I am very happy with the results! Installation was easy; about 5 minutes. I noticed a difference the first time I drove it after intalling the chip. My truck has more low end "pep", accelerates more quickly and maintains speed when going up hills. (it used to have trouble maintaining speed up hill). For the record, the 3.7L won't win many races, but with the chip, air raid intake, and K&N filter (using stock air box) I am happy with the modest level of performance and the fact that I still get 20+ Mpg on the highway. (I have noticed about a .5 Mpg increase) Sean"

"I purchased the PCM because I wanted to up the gas mileage on my pickup. I was getting 12.5-14.5 and was hoping for another 1 or 2 miles/gallon. Didn't change. I usually drive 55-60 mph and take it easy. I haven't taken any trips at 70-75 mph so I don't know if that will be better. My son thought the pickup has more zip and doesn't ping as much. I haven't tried premium gas but have a 180 thermostat."

"I had put a flowmaster system and K&N hi flow in take on my 2007 dodge, and when I towed a heavy load I needed a lillle more. This chip tied everything together great and really helped overal power and fuel eco. I would deffinetly recomend it!"

"I thought the chip might have made a slight improvement for my 95 Lightning until I hit the passing gear this a.m. and it really took off (like a jet...aaaarrrg). Pleased with it. The installation instructions should include better directions for getting to the computer."

"Very easy install - only a screwdriver required. There is a noticeable improvement in acceleration but gas mileage is still about 17 mpg. Still, it is worth the money in my opinion."

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L, Stage 1

"As with most aftermarket applications for this particular vehicle, I was skeptical. I received the part quickly from AutoAnything (you guys are great), and installed it in about five minutes. Reconnected the battery, fired it up and...... oh yeah! She's awake now. Coupled with my Series 77 K&N intake, NGK Iridium plugs(never use Bosch, trust me) and 89 octane fuel, the thing is ready for just about anything. My city mileage got about a mile or so better per gallon, but the beauty is in the takeoff, acceleration and interstate cruising and mpg. The chip doesn't neccessarily turn your WK into a racecar, but you will definitely notice a difference that in my opinion, is worth the $200. Thanks for reading my review."

"recieved my jet chip couldnt wait to put it in got off work at 10pm stood out in the dark and put it on had to wait tell morning to see if there was a power difference i took off when i woke up expecting to be a monster but no such luck dont get me wrong ther is more it seems like the acceleration is more solid all around pretty good for the price"

"I bought the chip along with a K&N air filter to improve the fuel economy of the Grand Cherokee that I recently purchased. It seems to have helped on the Highway as I get around 17/18 MPG but it hasn't done as much to improve the around town driving. I have not really had the car that long, but I am pleased I guess."

"I think that this product speaks for it’s self. It improved performance and acceleration. Also you can tell the difference at top end. Jet chip helped make highway driving interesting again. I just need them to make more parts for my car."
