"After installing the Jet performance chip I was able to expierence the upgrade right away. The longest part of the process was getting the computer out of the fire wall. The entire job took me 30 to 45 mins. I wish there were more options for the Ford Explorer."

"Although I am still evaluating the effect of the module, it has made a signifigant improvement in throttle response, better highway gas mileage, and has reduced "burble and pop" through the Borla exhaust. The stage 2 module was reasonably priced and easily installed ( $84 at local shop). It has exceeded my expectations. The Autoanything rep was helpful in arriving at this purchase."

"Very easy to install Stage 1 module (10 min) after closely reading the directions. Remove your truck's computer (three screws on firewall) & press module into place on a workbench. Do not try to press it in with the computer still on the firewall. You won't be able to get enough oomph.
No mileage check yet. I like the module well enough....engine runs smoother and doesn't always have to shift down going up a small hill towing a 25 ft RV. A good value for the money."

Tahoe Jet Performance Module

"I installed the module in an attempt to regain pre-larger tire installation performance. Tires are one size larger that OEM. Even with K&N Filter System, Module barely return about 80% of original performance, so I consider it a sucess, but if you are looking for large return for your investment, look elsewhere, or do more that just this."

"Having already put true dual exaust, the Jet Performance Module added to the performance of my car. It is still slow on take off, but mash the pedal at 50 mph and you can feel the difference and I havn't even ran 93 octane yet. Installation was very easy, anyone with little mechanical edperience could install module."

"Installed this in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 Hemi. Initially I thought it was only a very minor improvement but recently I had to take the chip out because I thought it was causing an issue (it wasn't). I noticed the difference straight away and when re-installed it was like "ahhhh, she's back". Feels better at the low end and gear shifts feel smoother. Nice easy performance increase and well worth the money."

"It was a little complicated to wire the wire harness thru the firewall of the car but I finally found a plug to do it. After I found it, the rest of the process was very easy and its worth every penny. As soon as pressed the gas I was getting more power... Definetely recommended. Keep it going Autoanything"

"My '94 Mustang GT has 140,000 miles,i have only driven 2K of them since i purchased it. It ran rough, but with many upgrades, and cheap! The first thing i did was order my Jet chip, and i am amazed!! The idle is smoother, the throtle is very responsive and the car is for sure much faster. The key were the parts previously installed by the last owner, like an air pipe and filter,MAF sensor, offroad h-pipe,3.73 Gears. Can't wait to install my cap and rotor, plugs, and wires!"

"I installed the power control module the same time I installed the K&N system and was rather disappointed with how the vehicle performed off the line. Acceleration is a little better than stock, so is torque. I would be worth the money at half the price."

"I am comparing a 1995 z-28 and 2001 ss ls-1 with similiar modification and the addition of a chip to each..The lt-1 benefitted the most, more torque improvement and horsepower boost. Much more positive shifting change on the lt-1.
From 45 mph up the ls-1 is a faster combination. I actually am getting better gas mileage at higher speeds. I traveled 166 miles in 1hr & 45 minutes and got 23.8 mpg. I am happy with this improvement. I would recommend this chip with improvements to the maf and a cold air or intake lid change."

"I can tell a difference in my shift points and to some degree, the power of my truck. But - I did expect to get some minimal increase in fuel mileage, but that has not been the case.
If I had it to do over again, I am not sure that this would be the way I would go.
I do however, sincerely appreciate your asking for my opinion. That is appreciated.

"I first installed a K&N FIPK and free flowing exhaust on my 2001 Camaro that has a 3.8L and auto trans. I only experienced modest gains in performance until I installed the Jet performance module. Wow! A really big improvement. This product really lived up to it's claims. Easy to install (less than 1/2 hour). Big bang for the bucks. I would certainly suggest the intake upgrade and exhaust to get the true potential from the stage 2 model."
