"I installed the K&N 63 series along w/Gibson Exhaust. Definitely not the same Jeep Renegade, it's like a Jeep on Steroids. The pickup is phoenominal, but the exhaust in cab noise is loader than I thought. I have kids and a wife so, I'm a bit more reserve when it comes to load noise, but I do love the performance and the noticeable difference on gas (chaachiing!!!)."

"On my car, this chip has raised my acceleration noticably. The biggest increase is when accelerating with people in my car, or uphill, the torque was definitely increased. Also, the car shifts much better and does not hesitate to shift down hardly at all. I don't know if it changed the brake pressure, but there is now more break pressure so i have to push the brakes down less in order to break effectively. The only thing that kept it from getting five stars is that the chip for my car does not take off the top speed limiter. Other than that it would have been five stars. Installation went smoothly and the directions were good, except my ECU wasn't labeled. I had to call customer service and they were INCREDIBLY helpful, the guy knew just what i needed to do and he was right. Thank you Jet for your good product and service. Thank you Auto Anything for your service!"

"The performance enhancement is great on this product. The problem I had, was with installation. Jet could of put a little more effort into making the chip smaller, in order that the installer doesnt have to modify any part of the factory wiring. The directions needed to be a little more clearer."

"well, it does what it says it will do...the hemi runs smoother, all the while I get about 1-2 mpg better if I can stay out of the throttle, and when I do dump it, it does get up, I just wish they would disable the rev limiter and speed governer...money well spent
btw, spoke with the factory this module cannot be "learned around" by the stock computer as could happen with older chips...I had so wanted Mopar to come out with thier hi-po computer first, but as it happens, they didn't this is a very good substitute - 4 stars"

"My 2004 Dodge Ram 4x4 4.7 liter truck runs very well with the new module. I received very good throttle responce of the line and a great top end passing gear. It was very easy to install after removing the after- market air intake. It was also the correct call to just remove the ECM from the firewall instead trying to loosen the clips while still attached to the vehicle. The only bummer is that I am still getting a check engine light. 'm going to take it all apart this weekend and start over, hopefully the problem will work itself out, or we may be sending my new toy back to JET!"

"At first I was thinking, no wy am I going to be able to perform this upgrade in less then 20 minutes, I mean, most manufacturers claim it will only take 30 minutes, but this often turns into hours. Well, it took me only 15 minutes! The directions are clear and easily understood and even someone without much mechanical ability will be able to install this chip in just a few minutes. Now, down to business- performance. I was skeptical at first about tooling around with the computer, but this upgrade can be easily removed in just a few minutes should you decide that you no longer want it (why you would do that, I don't know). Acceleration seems to have increased (I do not take my car to the track so I don't know exact numbers, but from the typical street scene, it seems to have increased)! Gas mileage is definitely up since I installed the chip. Prior to installation, my 93 Mark VIII was getting 11.9mpg on the street and 25.2 on the highway (the Mark VIII has a computer that tracks this info). Since installation street mpg has increased to between 13.9 and 14.1(I check daily) on the street and is up to 27.1 on the highway. (These numbers are consistent as I only use 93 octance everytime I fill up, so you can forget thinking that maybe I changed the gas that I put in). I am completely satisfied with the performance chip thus far!"

"Jet made all my other mods sync beautifully. My 04 Dakota with a 4.7L V8 has custom dual exhaust with Flowmasters and a Fastman throttle body with a True Flow air intake. Installed in just minutes, the Jet StageII module is hands down the easiest modification I have installed yet. Accelerating is now effortless with a strong pull from the bottom end to the top of the rev range. I have even seen an extra 25 miles per tank. Even my wife has noticed a change in engine smoothness, with less vibration. Thank you Jet and AutoAnyting."

"I purchased the stage 2, along with a Gibson 3" cat back exhaust and S&B cold air intake, I really feel the improvement in the low to medrange, I have yet to pull my trailer, but I am certain the power will be there when I call on it. For the money and the speedy response from AutoAnything I would go to them again for my shopping needs. Owen"

2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7L 4X4 - Jet Stage II chip
Posted on 01/06/2006 by Joel C. - 2004 Jeep Liberty (Tulsa,OK)

"This chip paid for itself with just the way the automatic transmission shifts now. Without the chip the transmission always tried to get into overdrive, and didn't want to downshift. Now, it takes a steady speed with no throttle modulation for extended seconds before it drops into overdrive, and a mash of the accelerator downshifts seemingly twice as quickly as before. Around town driving is highly enhanced by these transmission changes.
I think the chip added some power as well. I installed it, along with aftermarket: drop in high flow air filter, throttle body spacer, and a cat-back exhaust. The chip has really complimented the other mods, and boosted their effect no doubt.
If you own an automatic Liberty with other mods, you'll like this chip.
I can't really say much about the fuel economy because with the extra power I've been sticking my foot in it more, but I can tell you that it didn't hurt it at all. My MPG is nearly the same now driving it hard as it was before driving it easy - nearly. With easy driving it would be even or better.
It was worth the money, and got it at a great price here too."

"I recently changed my exhaust over to 3" flowmaster dual exhaust system. When I installed the performance chip it sounded alot different, throatier and not so canny as when I had the OEM computer only. I have noticed a vast improvement on passing/top end power but not too much for shifting and at the bottom end of the RPM range."
