"Seems to help a little on in-town mpg. Not sure about performance increase. Very tame advance curve and shift point. If it wasn't already in I'd probobly not use it.
Had to "snip" a little of the car's firewall to install. Not a big deal."

"Installation took a whole 10 minutes, max. Unsure about exactly how much HP gained, but it does "feel" quicker. I did the K&N intake and Borla cat-back shortly afterwards. Both recommended."

"I bought the Jet Performance Chip (Stage 1) for my V6 Dakota because it was very sluggish off of the line. Wow, big difference! I installed the chip combined with a K&N air filter and I not only got the performance increases I was looking for, it also increased my gas mileage 3 to 5 miles to the gallon. If you’re thinking about getting one, go for it…"

Finally a chip for my taurus!
Posted on 08/29/2005 by Matthew G. - 2000 Ford Taurus (North Falmouth,MA)
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"The jet performance module is a worthy performance addition, installation was not fun but that's ford's fault, the chip itself very simple to install. Definate gain in power, now there's a steady power curve straight through shifts where before there might have been lag, overall passing speed and off the line power is improved enough to make this part worth its price. Gas mileage will take a moderate hit but that's an expected compromise for the power increase. Overall a great buy."

"The chip arrived very fast as promised. The directions directed a location of my Vehicle PCM on the wrong side of the vehicle, but besides that we are extremely happy with the performance of the module. We would definately recommend that anyone get it, as we've seen huge increases in performance, faster excelleration, more HP, and better gas mileage, even with our standard grade gasoline (87 octane).

"Overall I am pleased with the increase in performance.
I put a chip and K&N air intake system in my F-150 and in my Mustang GT.
In the F-150 I have noticed a significant difference in acceleration and Power. Not so much in the GT.
I have not noticed any increase in gas mileage. (I have been keeping track)
Finally, the chip seems to act like a governor and in some situations depressing the accelerator is of no use. (maybe I'm crazy)"

"Installtion the chip was a breeze. However, whatever the improvement it supposed to have is hardly noticeble. I tried it on and off to compare. After 3 weeks driving with the chip installed , I does notice an increase in fuel consumption. Let see if it get any better if I drove with it longer"

Cadillac Escalade, this is the way they should make it.

"Quick throttle response while still maintaining the ride handling characteristics you expect from the Cadallic Escalade.
My son has a Escalade EXT and borrowed mine one night without knowing that I had installed the Jet Chip. He imemdiately called and wanted to know what we had done, the change was so noticeable.
This is the way the Escalade should run from the factory! Calillac or the dealer should offer it as an option.
Tip for others instaling the chip into the Escalade, remove both cables from the module, so you can turn it in place. It makes it easier to insert the Jet Module for the first time (So the pins will insert into the jack).
Recommend it as a Buy!"
