"I use my Jeep as a daily driver. My Jeep has a manual transmition. I have noticed ease in the shifting and about a 1-1 1/2 MPG increase since installing the Jet Chip."

"chip was very easy to install. before and after install took it for a quarter mile and couldnt tell a difference. however after the first tank of gas ent thru an increase of almost 2 mpg. i dont have freeflow exhaust yet so maybe that will help performance."

"I was really hoping for an improvement in gas mileage but as of now have seen none. I have noticed that shifting (automatic) is much smoother and power is definetely transferred in proportion to the accelerometer. Before using the PCM, you'd have to mash the pedal to accelerate, now, it's very smooth. I have not removed it and probably won't. I have also added a CAI (K&N 63 series) and together, i definetely notice a difference in responsiveness. I'm not sure it's worth the price, but since I've already purchased it, i won't be removing it."

"I only had this jet stage 1 for a couple of weeks and I can already tell the difference in power and can get 2 mpg more! with this jet chip. I also can relize that it shifts alot better when you accelerate and at cruising speeds it seems that i have lower rpms. Great product"

"Well... it was hard to tell a difference when I first put it on.... but after a few days I could notice the power difference. It's a small increase, but everything helps. And as for mpg.... it has helped... maybe 2-3 mpg. I do recommend it. But a tune would be better I'm sure."

"This is a slick little device. The installation was a piece of cake once i figured out where it was supposed to go. The instructions were completely wrong for my vehicle so i had to look it up online. But once i got that figured out it worked great. I've definitely noticed a difference in acceleration, but i haven't seen any improvement in gas mileage unfortunately."

"Took me a while to install. My computer was hard to get to and take out. I ended up installing the chip with the computer still in the truck. Make SURE YOU CLEAN THE CONNECTORS! Your car or truck will not start unless everything is clean. As far as performance, I noticed a change in my shifting (REAL SMOOTH!) When I opened her up on the highway, my rpm's were at a higher level than usual before it kicked in to second gear. I have noticed more power across the board. Haven't checked the mpg's yet though, I'm too busy punching the throttle!"

"I really don't know if the PCM will do something to other cars but mine it didn't I did what the instructions said and the car feels the same I have the cold air intake and the catback exhaust and the 180 degree thermo it still feels the same and the only reason I wanted to try this product was because I saw a lot of online forums that where talking bad about this product and I wanted to seeit for my self it doesn't work. on neons."

"I was looking for a mod that would increase my fuel economy, as I drive a lot to get to work. The Jet module increased my fuel economy by at least 2 miles per gallon. If 10-17 horses come with that, I am impressed."

Increased performance and mileage

"I recently purchased a module for my 2005 GMC Yukon with the 5.3 liter Vortex engine and noticed changes immediately. The key I found was also adding a new intake like AFE or K&N to allow greater airflow as well as a new exhaust from the CAT back. In combination I am recieving an additional 4-5 milies per gallon increase. I'm not kidding about this and can prove my findings. Please note that it's really important to modify ones the driving habits, like not giving too much gas when excellerating. Overall, the module was well worth the investment and I hope that others will follow the same path. Enjoy!"

"i installed the PCM on my 03 trailblazer 4.2L and i noticed better acceleration at about 3500rpm, but nothing really below that. there was also a distinct difference in the exhaust note throughout the entire rpm range. i have a 1" spacer kit, 265-75-16 nitto terra grappler tires, and a gibson exhaust. with all of this installed and the PCM, the acceleration feels like it did when it was stock without the spacer kit and bigger tires. i haven't noticed any real difference in MPG, but i have been driving a bit spirited recently."

"Excellent product shows me addition horsepower. Ran approx 2 tanks of fuel through truck since installing and gained 1.2 miles per galion on country roads, stop and go traffic . Very easy instructions to install! Thanks Jet Preformance!!"

"My Jet performance chip arrived quickly and was packaged well. The installation instructions were easy to understand. This particular installation took me about 20 minutes. I had previously installed a K & N air filter and performance exhaust and this chip brought everything to life. Would recommend to others..."

"I put This in my 2007 Dodge Charger R/T. I got the second stage one and let me tell you I can tell a difference in my HP an torque but with my 5" tip Borla exhaust, with a K&N cold air intake and a throttle body spacer. Im pushing around 400 hp at least from a 340hp stock 5.7L HEMI."

"I was not looking for power gains, but hoped that the revised ignition timing would result in increased MPG. The unit interferes w/ the stock air clearner, so I may lower the air cleaner or shim the ECU for clearance. Upon installation the engine stalled several times (stranding me)throwing codes. Wiggling the unit allowed restarting the engine each time. After wiggling the unit to make better contact, the unit appears to be reliable. The air cleaner makes good alignment difficult. I have not noticed increased performance or shift point differences, and have not yet run a full tank of gas to check MPG. At least runs reliably now and I have no more MIL codes, and that's something!"

Good performance increase for the money

"Since this is an all-wheel drive Explorer(2001) and hard to chassis dyno. The seat of the pants dyno tells me the 5.0 V8 is producing at least 10 more horsepower with just the chip installed. This added with a cold air kit and a true cat back dual exhaust with a flowmaster dual-in/dual-out X crossover muffler, has given me I feel at least 30 more HP. This Explorer will now run right with my 91 LX Mustang that the only mod is removal of the air silencer. I also went from 300 miles on a tank of gas to 375!!! An increase of 4-5 MPG!!!"

"I installed a Stage 1 Jet Performance Chip in my 05 Durango 4.7L last week and am very pleased with the performance gains. I put on oversized tires and this chip more than made up for the performance loss due to the bigger tires. My only complaint was that I had to remove my femder well to access the computer in my vehicle. Jet could have made the instructions a little more vehicle specific so I did not have to figure this fact out on my own."

"Although my '04 Cavalier isn't out to break any world records anytime soon, after installing my Jet Performance Module I can feel the difference. One word of advice, probably more for the GM 2.2L & 2.4L crowd, the installation instructions where a bit vague with where and how the connections where to be made. But after successfully having it all installed with a big dose of time and patience, there is a noticeable seat of the pants push (not plastering you to the seat mind you) & with a quicker climb of the speedo. After all is said and done, it really feels as though my car is running smoother and better than before, along with returning better fuel economy.All in all, and simple enhancement to any vehicle."
