"Upon pushing the Jet Performance Module into my vehicle computer it became very resistent to the point I became hesitate to push any harder. With a call to Jet Tech support the issue was resolved with the tech informing me the Jet Module was designed as such and that it's normal in having to push the module in with force in order to obtain a proper seal. I wish they had mentioned this in the install insrtuctions...whould have saved some time. Michael Lakeland,Fl 97 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 V8"

"I think the Jet Chip is a lil over rated...I didnt see much of a power gain, but what I did see was a drop in gas mileage from 19 mpg. to 16.6 mpg!"

"Easy to install, maybe 10 minutes. Most of that was disconnecting the battery. Huge improvement in throttle response and acceleration. Works extremely well with the K&N CAI I have installed."

"Great product, easy installation! Noticed really improved horsepower especially around 3000 rpms. And also helped out my Volant CAI i orderd from these guys. Smoother shifting and smoother idling. Great product from a great store!"

"Installed the jet performance module on my 05 chevy colorado. Istallation was quite easy only took 20 minutes. Quicker off the start,and more midrange torque. Not sure about gas millage yet. I am also running a kn cold air induction kit."

"Before purchasing my JET stage 1 chip for my 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 4X4 Quad Cab with the 5.9L V8 I read the reviews and talked to some other people that had installed them. As stated in the reviews the install was a breeze and the instructions were VERY easy to follow.I have some modest after market add ons such as throttle body spacer and CAT back exhaust 3" with Flowmaster. also a K&N filter. I have noticed an improvement in accelleration and smoothness of the engine operation with the JET chip that i did not with the other add ons. It's too soon to tell on the gas mileage claim as i need to put a few more miles on the truck. I tow a 30ft travel trailer and look forward to improved performance with the JET chip."

New To Jet Products

"This Is My First Purchase Of Any Jet Merchandise. Easy Install....Well.....Except Changing Out The Stock Thermostat To A 180 Degree One, Which Is Required For The Stage II Module On The 4.0 Straight 6 Engine. That Seemed To Become A Major Ordeal For Some Reason. We Will Call That "SGS" ("S"tupid "G"uy "S"yndrome). All That Aside, Everything Went Fine. I Started The Vehicle Up After Install And After Warming Up For A Few Minutes, Immediately, I Noticed A Definite Smoother Idle. I Also Noticed A Definite Cooler Operating Temp On The Dash Gauge. After Driving Fairly Conservative For About 8-10 Miles, I Did Some Harder Accelerating From Stops And On Entrance Ramps To The Interstate. They Was A Definite Improvement In Acceleration Thru The Whole Powerband And The Throttle Seems Much Snappier. Now, Don't Read Into This Too Much. This Is Not A Mind Boggling Change In Performance, But It Is Noticeable. I Have The Banks Power Torque Tubes And Monster Exhaust And That Install Improved Performance. I Installed The Banks Power Ram Air System And That Improved Performance A Little. I Installed An Aftermarket Throttlebody Vortex Spacer And That Was The Least Noticeable In Performance. I May Try The Jet Throttlebody Spacer To See If That Is Better. Soooo...........What I Am Saying Is Every Little Enhancement Helped The Performance. It's Too Early To Tell About Gas Mileage. I Recommend These Type Of "Bolt On" Upgrades Over Tearing An Engine Apart, Changing Heads, Pistons, Cams.......Etc. I Purchased This Jeep New 10 Years Ago And Kinda Babied It Over That Time. I Also Installed New Fender Flares And Body Armor Just As A 10 Year Birthday Gift To The Jeep As With All The Above Installed Items."

"The installation was a little more difficult than anticipated but still easy just the same. So far there has been a 3-4 mpg improvement in the average fuel economy on the trip computer on my Jeep. I have yet to take a long trip consisting of just freeway miles but so far so good. The power increase and ease of driveability with the increased power was immediately noticed. Even my girlfriend noticed from the passenger seat!!!"

"My fuel mileage has not changed since installing the JET chip, both city and highway, which is the sole reason I selected this product. The engine does sound a little more throaty (other than chip it is stock) and the acceleration feels improved. It seems to utilize more of the engine's power range, and when I am accelerating reapidly it will now strongly run up to ~5000 rpm before shifting. Overall this product is average."

"I could not believe the differance in performance, I have gained so much more pick up and power ,its unbelievable. Im not just saying this, I would'nt have believed it if I had'nt bought one for myself and installed it in my own truck.(2002 Mazda B3000 3.0L) The whole process,delivery etc,was more than expected. Bottom line I'm impressed!!!"

"This was an extremely tight fit, but it fit. Instructions were easy to follow and it took about 10 minutes. Performance is great! I think it is helping a bit with fuel economy too. I am very pleased with this upgrade, and wish I had done it earlier."

"After installing the chip I noticed a drop in power at the lower RPMs. It takes longer to feel the engines power. At the same time I have noticed a big increase in power and accelleration when Im in 4 wheel drive. It hauls ass in 4high now. I have noticed a 1-2 mile per gallon increase."

"The JET chip is a good price compared to other device's. installing the chip was easy, find the cpu and unplug and plug the JET chip in and plug back in. I bought the stage 1 and notice a gain in Horse power and torque.. i have free-flowing exhaust and cut out airbox with a K&N filter, with a AIRAID spacer on my throttle body. It did very good i thought .. but one catch! it doesn't really save fuel since it's giving more fuel for performace.. but like the response and recommend it.."

"I had a Stage 2 Jet chip for my '04 Dodge Dakota 4.7L along with some minor upgrades and it made a big difference in throttle response and gas mileage. So when I bought the SRT8 Jeep I bought the Stage 1 Jet Chip along with a Mopar intake. The Stage 1 gives better throttle response in automatic mode. I do not notice any gas mileage gains. Overall I like it but I wish it would be more noticable; the important thing to mention is that 15-20hp on top of 450 is not as noticable as 15-20hp on top of 250, so maybe that is why it is not as noticable on the SRT8. Once I get a lower thermostat I will buy the Stage 2 for the SRT"
