"After reading reviews on the chip I didn't know what to expect. I already had an Intake and exhaust so I thought the chip along with the cold temp thermostat. I guess the reviews were close to what the results are. 50/50. I expected a little more power but I am pleased with the shifting and coasting idle. The truck seems to bog or suck air when idling while stopped then return to a constant idle. I have not gone thru a entire tank of fuel yet so I have not gauged the fuel savings or maybe a lack thereof since I keep slamming the pedal to the floor. I am pleased with the purchase due to the excellent price I bought it for (around 180) due to another website having it for less. Auto anything was quick to help and shipping was very fast. I would recommend the chip to others looking for little to moderate improvement in power."

"The JET pcm was easy to install although it is a tight fit.Just be careful when reinstalling ECM -watch wires and weather strip attached to top of firewall.Be patient...it will fit back. One thing I was not aware of after the install and this may be a point to mention in the installation instructions was the BAS warning light came on after the first start-up.Don't be surprised if this happens. Here's what to do - start vehicle, turn steering wheel all the way to left then all the way to right then center wheel. After driving for about 4 miles the BAS warning light should go off & stay off. If not,you may have to check the pcm connection to ensure proper contact. With the JET pcm properly installed and seated on the ecm, there should be no warning lights lit on the dash display.
As far as performance the first thing I noticed was the change in transmission shifting. It was smoother and the top end revs to shift went up 150 to 200 rpm (about 100 rpm below redline). Merging onto the freeway/highway & up to speed is definitely improved.Bottom end seems better also but I normally have the ESP turned on which would normally prevent/diminish wheel spin. MPG hasn't been checked yet.Overall I think it's a good product that is easy to install and so far hasn't created any negative issues. B."

"i also put on airaid intake and poweraid throttle body spacer and flowmaster 30 series with two chambers dumped. it now has enough power to spin my 33 inch tires and it makes it better for fourwheeling. since that is my hobby i would do this set up on any colorado just for the power increase. it is really noticed."

"HP obviously has increased as well as smoother shifting. Not sure about MPG yet, but will assume with the small advance in HP, MPG should be slightly better. I'm disappointed the unit went on sale and had a $20 mail in rebate after my purchase, but I'm still happy with the price. This is the first (real)PCM I've seen for the Hummer H3. Great service and prompt shipping."

"I would have liked a better discription of where the ECM was and you really have to clean off wax from the connector on the ECM and pry up the connectors on the chip for a good fit and much better connection. More power in 5th gear so I'll keep it. I also have a TBspacer and AFE modified intake with a cone style air filter. Went from 22mpg to 20mpg after adding the chip."

"I have a 4 liter, 5 spd '04 Ranger. First I added the K&N intake. Then JBA headers. Next JBA cat back exhaust. Three days ago I installed the Jet module.
The headers didn't seem to make much of a difference until I added the cat back. There was a very noticable improvement. I live in Denver, and drove to Oklahoma. When passing, the truck has much better power. It used to run out of power above 4k rpm. Now it pulls strongly up to 5k.
After installing the Jet module, I am now able to accelerate up a long hill in fifth where I used to downshift. There is more power at 2k rpm. This should help mileage. I haven't filled the tank yet."

Noticed a difference in acceration and on the intersate when goin from 60 to 70 and on to 80 much smoother truck dosent have to rev up as high anymore. Haven't noticed much gas milage change but also haven't used the recommended 91 octane either. Good product though i would recommend it."

"No its not explosive power, but it does improve the over all feel of the truck. I think it was a great upgrade for my truck. It did make my 0-60 alot quicker for getting on highways and what not but to step into it on the roll not that impresive. I did like how it gives you the option of running regular or premiem fuel, of corse I choose premeim for best results of power but if your wanting just some better MPG stay with the low octain. Im working on an over all MPG now sorry I couldn't reply on that subject. And yes I am pleased with this product."

"I have a 1997 4x4 F350, 5 speed, regualr cab with a 460 and 4.10's, 9 inches of suspension lift and 39.5" TSL's. Only other mods are a throttle body spacer and dual exhaust. This chip made a noticeable difference and really woke the engine up. I have a noticeable power increase from idle all the way up. I would recommend this product to anyone. The truck is driven regularly, and I have not really noticed a mileage increase, but it would be hard to tell."

"The Chip programed my truck to rev to a higher RPM before shifting, but ultimately I didn't see the power I was hoping for. I couldn't really even notice a difference. I have an AEM intake and a Flowmaster exhaust so I know it's breathing well enough to notice a difference if there were one. ultimately, I think for the little bit it does, it should be much cheaper. I wouldn't pay more then about 135 if I wwere going to ever but another one."

"My 02,ford,f-150,5.4,supercrew off-road 4x4, with 41k, was acting tired. I read up on chips and took the plunge. I couldn't be happier! Truck idles smoother, shifts smoother, performs better, and has noticable horse power gain at rear wheels!Even with a heavy foot,I went from 12.9mpg average to 13.5mpg and no trouble lights! Critical to success is cleaning the ECM contacts! Remove the ECM and carefully use the provided "scrubby" on both sides of the motherboard (for my year ford;other vehicles may be easier). The chip tied together my two other mods,Magnaflow cat-back and a JET MAS. If this driveway mechanic can find joy, so can you! Thanks to AutoAnythings great prices, and JET products and staff.Inspector#41"

"We have a 2008 Ford Ranger FX4 with the V6. The installation of the chip was very simple. The pick up in power was felt on the first drive. the transmission also has a smoother shift to it now. At this time we do not know what fuel improvement it will have but overall we are happy with the performance.

"Had already installed Airaid throttle body spacer, free flow air intake, Acel Super Coil and 8mm plug wires along with Bosch Platium Plus4 plugs which had improved preformance and gas mileage in my 97 Jeep Wrangler SE with a underpowerd, overworked 2.5 4 cylinder. In less than 15 minutes that it took to install the JetPreformance Module #90017, which is the basic chip, I could tell when I turned the switch we had hit paydirt, fired instantly, ran smoother. TEST DRIVE Got in, put it in reverse and it backed itself out of the drive, put it in drive and could tell with the first gear shift, mission accomplished. Now the Jeep drives with less effort, shifts with less strain, accellerates quicker and gets about 2 mpg better milage over what the prior upgrades had accomplished. I almost wished now that I had stepped up to the stage II chip and some where down the road may do that."
