"I purchased the Jet Performance Chip and installed it along with an AEM Brute Force cold Air Intake, MSD spark plug wires, and Bosch Platinum +4 Spark Plugs. The difference in performance was immediate. I have a 1997 Dodge 1500 4x4 with the 5.2L engine and it roars. the chip took about 30 seconds to install and I am pretty happy so far."

"I dont have any baseline numbers or access to a dyno, but I do know that before the chip one of my coworkers with a 1.8ltr Intergra could keep up and barely pass me going up the steep hill to my bosses house. After the chip I am leaving him in the dust. Money well spent. Fairly easy to install."

Jet Performance Chips Stage 2 PCM

"My 2005 Chrysler 300C 5.7 liter had just under 30,000 miles on it when I installed the Jet Stage 2 chip in conjunction with a K & N Typhoon intake. I had the stock exhaust resonator replaced with a pair of Magnaflow glass packs and I installed the the recommended 180 degree thermostat, which I had to get from another vendor. The performance increase is breathtaking. The Jet Chip performs as advertized.
Now for the bad news. The chip is very difficult to install on the Chrysler 300. I had to trim away a 2" X 1/4" section from the lip of the firewall to get the engine control module back into place after plugging in the chip. After getting the module back into position, the plug with the Jet Chip in it is pressed up very tightly against the firewall insulation. If I had to do it over again I would have trimmed some of the insulation away to relieve pressure on the plug and the PCM. It certainly won't come unplugged now. According to Jet, intsallation of the Stage 2 PCM absolutely necessitates the replacement of the stock 203 degree thermostat with a 180 degree unit. Auto Anything didn't have the thermostat so I had to get it elsewhere which took more time.
Other than these two minor complaints I love the performance increase and I can't wait to take the car to "Street Night" at New England Dragway."

"Install was approx 1 hour. Had to remove battery, battery tray and CPU completely to install. Manual was outdated and not helpful. Tech support was equally clueless. CPU is located behind battery on the firewall. The chip plugs into top port. The chip has improved mileage on highways but horrible on city roads no other changes noted in terms of tranny shifting and power. JET mass air sensor was also installed."

"First off I got the Staage I chip for a 2006 PT Cruiser. My mileage has increased about 2-2 1/2 mpg. I am now getting highway mileage in town. I haven't tested performance as of yet because of the price of gas I am trying to take it easy for now. I like the fact that I don't have to use premium gas with the stage I. The only problem is with installing the chip. It is not as easy as the instructions say for this particular install. There is ZERO clearance for the chip between the computer board and the brake fill resivor cap. removal of the computer module or modification of the wiring harness is necessary. Even with the modification the wiring harness is pressing on the neck of the cap and the cap has to be forced into place. This was not the case on my '99 Wrangler. I was simply unplug the harness, place the chip, and replug the harness. I wish the Crusier had been that east."

"07 Ford Fusion 3.0L The chip works good but the install instructions were poor. But for those of us that like to go over 100mph I would strongly suggest getting the speed governer removed, because this chip makes it that much quicker to get over 100MPH!

With JET CHIP 1/8 mile 9.983@72mph"

"After installing the Jet Stage II, I have noticed an increase in both horsepower and torque in the low to mid-range on my 1993 wrangler YJ, 5 speed, 4.0. This is ideal for my use as I am more concerned with its ability on the trails in low range than with high speed highway use. Although it is a daily driver, it rarely sees much interstate miles. Haven't had much time to check fuel mileage yet, but should gain some due to not being in the gas as much when accelerating. Great product!"

"Arrived on time and it was easy to install. Stage 1 with no modifications. Similar results to what others experienced with the same set up and power plant. Noticable difference in performance. Improved low end performance with less lag in throttle response. Better take off from complete stop. There is a definite improvement in the midrange power band when driving in heavy traffic. Approx 500 miles driven since instilation 70% in town. Fuel milage increased from 11.5 mpg city to 14.3 mpg city. Not enough milage driven on long trips to see it there will be an improvement over the previous 18 mpg on the highway. Purchased to improve fuel economy and towing. Would definitely recomend for similar vehicle set up."

"I installed the chip with fair ease. took all of ten minutes. I didn't like the fact I couldn't use my dust cover for the computer after I installed the chip, but I guess it will be alright. I did notice a bit of pick up and smoothness to the acceleration after the installation, so I guess advancing the ignition curve did help."

"If I had any idea what I would have to go through to get to the ECM on this vehicle, I would never have purchased the chip. The control module is located between the driver side kick panel and the fender, behind the emergency brake. To get to the module, you have to remove the nuts from the engine side of the firewall, and slide the unit out into the engine compartment, plug the cip in, then re-install the ECM into the firewall. I had to remove the plastic fenderwell to get enough room to slide the ECM out. The chip may have added a little spunk to the engine, but it is not really that noticable. I may notice a difference if I took it out, but I am not curious enough to go through the hassle."
