"I recently installed unit in my 98 p71. Installation was easy,(ABOUT 30 MINS.) I didn't think there would be much improvement, but I was mistaken. You can hear and feel the new power that was unleashed. Haven't had a chance to check gas mileage yet. Very good investment."

"Well, I ordered it at night on the 12th and got it on the 15th. I consider that pretty quick.
Opened it up, read the directions, and started to put it into my car. I had to disable On-Star and my DRLs (which turned out to be unplugging two wires and setting the brake). Uploading went very easy. A code went off before I started to pick my options (B3128; LF Door Only, Unlock Circuit High). I had it scanned by another scanner, which said that no codes were reported. I talked to another guy that has an Impala and he said that there really isn't a code going off. After that was taken care of, I set my options (rev limit to 6000RPMs; max shift firmness; raised my top speed for my tires). Upload took about five minutes. After I ran the car, I went back to stock to see how it is done. It was just as easy.
When I first started to drive with the changes, I noticed a respectable change in power. It isn't what you would expect from a more expensive mod, like a turbo, but it does put more power in the pedal. For me, the best change was in my shifts. There is no comparison between how my transmission shifts before to now! It's a hell of a lot quicker and less sloppy.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has an Impala, Monte Carlo, or Regal with a 3800 series engine. The only way I wouldn’t recommend is if you added more than intake and/or exhaust work. If you did, I would go for something that uses a laptop to give you more room to work with."

"Once I hooked up the power programer I was amazed by the ease of use of this device. Since installing the 87 Octane Performance Program in my '03 Jeep Wrangler I have noticed a surprising boost in over all power. I have also had an increase of about 1-2 MPG since loading the program. Overall I am very impressed with this piece of equipment."

"The chip on its own will not meet expectations, do all the other adds that compliment the program and it will meet and surpass expectations. I'm impressed with the preformance of my truck, don't know about mileage yet...It runs well enough that I don't care about mileage now, it screams!"

"The programmer seems like a good tool for someone like me that wants a little more pepp and fuel economy. I am a little old for bolting on a few grand worht of parts these days, but I still like a little tinkering and this is great."

"My hopes for better fuel economy while pulling a 28 foot travel trailer with my 2004 Tahoe 4 X 4 may have been a little high, but while not pulling the trailer I did notice it has a lot more power. Would I buy it again? Not at this price. AutoAnything was great with their help when ordering and delivery was quick as always. Thanks AutoAnything."

"I reprogrammed my pickup as it needed help! I bought this truck to pull a 35 foot travel trailer and was disappointed at the lack of power and milage I WAS NOT getting! I replaced the cold air intake system and it seemed to help a little, next I put the stock tire size back on, helped a little also. THEN I purchased this reprogrammer. What a difference it made in both performance and milage! It nows pulls my travel trailer like it should for a 360! I gained a noticeable power increase AND picked up about 3-4 MPG! (from 8.7 to 11.9 loaded!) You do the math at $2.85 a gallon and figure out how long it will take to pay for itself! Next is the exhaust to help a bit more! It aint no Hemi but a Hemi wasn't in the budget! I reprogrammed it at the 87 octane level. I will have to try the 93 octane level and see what happens there next. I highly recommend this easy to use tool for anyone. DON'T expect a miracle, but DO expect a difference! (I shopped all over the internet and the best price was right here at AutoAnything.com!)"

"The up-load went "as advertised". I was very satisfied with being able to firm up the transmission shifts. While the dyno sheet suggested that I might not feel too much of a difference in the low to mid range, I could tell that my truck had more zip. I feel more comfortable with the few extra horses under the hood. I really wanted to see some extra MPG and think I might be getting an extra half mile per gallon. I know there is a trade off between the extra zip and MPG, though. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Hyper Tech Power Programmer III."

"I HEARD ABOUT THE HYPERTECH
FROM A FEW OF MY TRUCK FRIENDS AND SO WHEN I ORDERED FOR MY FORD F250 DIESEL. AFTER I INSTALLED IT. IM VERY IMPRESSED WITH IT. MY DAD AND I WENT AND GOT A LOAD OF WOOD AND MY DAD AND I WERE VERY IMPRESSED LIKE THERE WAS NO LOAD BEHIND US AND GOT DECENT DIESEL MILEAGE AT THE SAME TIME SO MUCH POWER. I SHOWED A FEW OF MY FRIEDS AND THEY PROBABLY ALREADY GOT THEIR ORDER IN."

"The reason I puchased this produce was to correct the speedo and odometer for larger size tires, which it did. In the 87 octane preformace setting noticed much better throttle response. It was like the 35 inch tires were stock. Installation is as easy as reading the screen. Quick too, it only took about 15 minutes. Another advantage is that it will read TDC's, and can be returned to stock settings."

"The Hypertech PP III was easy to use. I purchased it mainly for increased economy. I used to get 330 miles per tank on average. I now get over 400! The extra power is just an added benefit as far as I am concerned - and it is very noticable."

"I have a 1996 Chevy Impala SS. I recently broke down and bought the Hypertech programmer b/c several individuals told me what a big difference it makes. Even a mechanic told me that my car was 'castrated' (from the mfgr's restrictions on the engine) and that a little tuning up would make a big difference. So I recently decided to unleash the fury that was within my car's engine with a programmer... and I guess I'm still waiting. Maybe if I were at a track and timing my car I would see some miniscule difference?? Or then again, maybe what's miniscule to me is huge to a racer. Anyway, I can think of lots of other things I could have spent that $300 on that would have been more tangible. Oh well, you live and you learn."
