"Product works well and is easy to use, but the documentation leaves a bit to be desired. It would be nice of Hypertech to make some recommendations of programming options for increasing horsepower, increasing fuel mileage, etc."

"Installed a Gibson Super Truck cat back exhaust and AEM Brute Force cold air intake so I thought I would top it off with the Hypertech Power Programmer III. Easy to use and programs fast. The tranny seems to shift smoother but best of all the new program got rid of those lame factory speed and RPM limiters. Took the beast to 114 MPH with ease and she still begged for more. As for more MPG, haven't slowed down long enough to notice. But still a cool toy!"

"My '97 5.9L Dodge Ram 1500 2WD is thirsty. I usually get, on the average, 12-12.5 MPG in Southern CA everyday driving. The first time out after the really easy setup (87 octane setting) with this programmer, I got 14 MPG. Adding 2 MPG may not sound like much, but with gas now in excess of $3.00 per gallon I figure the programmer will pay for itself in 9 months---sooner if gas continues to rise. My only complaint is that I can't find a place that sells 93 octane gas here in CA so I can't try out the 93 octane setting. As to power, even the 87 setting gave a noticable power increase."

"I installed this program in conjunction with a Gibson Duel Sport Exhaust and K&N Series 77 Cold air intake and the power gains were very noticeable. Its been hard to keep my foot out of the throttle, but when I do get in it the power is there. I noticed the power mostly from 2-4K RPMS, I dont drive it too much above that range. Along with the power there is a definite mileage increase with gas, considering I have driven it with a heavier foot and Im getting the same gas mileage, (17MPG) city, if I were to actually stay out of the throttle the gains would be more noticeable. I dindt exactly buy a truck for gas mileage, so if your looking for more power and more from your engine then I highly recommend the Hypertech Power Programmer III!"

"I can feel the difference since I reprogrammed my supercharged 2004 Monte Carlo SS. The car shifts better and the throttle reponse is greater than before I bought and used my new Hypertech programmer."

"Good gain back on my mpg, I went to 33" tires and mile milage went down to hitting a half a tank at around 130 miles, back up too 200 miles at a half a tank. Really helps out with gas prices these days."

"I have had three Diesel's and used three diffrent programers and I gota say this Hyper P111 is so good it makes me giddy. This baby is a BUTTKICKER. I have a 06 KingRanch and my milage has gone thru the roof. The power is awesome. I wish I would have purchased earlier. I love it."

"Programmer was purchased primarely to adjust for larger tires installed. In comparison,I am now getting worse mileage. At least an accurate measurement. I like being able to adjust shift points and also shift feel. I have no regrets with my purchase."

"My 2004 Suburaban has more power for pulling my 2 horse slant load trailer. It climbs hills a lot better. Didn't get the improvement in gas mileage that I had hoped for though."

"I was not overly impressed with this computer, price is great, gains are min. even at 91 octane (used on '06 4.8) but on the plus side bumping up the speed limiter was nice. Shift firmness and point adj had little effect on performance. Would I buy again, maybe."

"We have a Chevy Crew Duramax 3/4ton and the Hypertech programmer does give it more horsepower and torque. I've tried it set at 3 but have tuned it down to level 2. We tow a 32ft. 5th wheel and are expecting to use level 1 for towing. Thanks for a good product!"

"Just wanted to say if anyone was thinking about buying a chip or power programer,i would go with the Hypertech PP III. This thing kicks a__ !It turned my 2004 FX4 F-150 into a 2wheel drive short bed asphalt eating machine !I could not beleive the instant throtle rersponse i got,set only on the PP III 87 octane setting.I pulled a 6500 # 5th wheel to the track & it gave me now problem at all.All you do is plug- in & answer yes or no questions and you are good to go.
Also, i would like to say Autoanything DID have the lowest price & they shipped it to me in 3 days.I would say THIS is money well worth spent."

"I noticed the firmer shift and the ability to stretch out the gears allows for around town driving. I drive a 2002 FX4 f-150 and it drinks gas. I havent had a chance to check the milage yet but it accelerates better so I dont have to stay in the throttle as long."
