"I must admit that I was skeptical up front about whether or not the power gains I would achieve with this product would be that noticable, in the driver's seat. I had installed a K&N Filter Charger intake system with some definite improvement to throttle response. Then I ordered a Gibson Extreme Dual Exhaust System and the Hypertech Power Programmer from AutoAnything a few weeks ago. I installed the exhaust system and performed some test drives. Again I noticed some level of improved response but not a huge amount. Then I hooked up the Hypertech Programmer and installed the performance program for 87 octane fuel. I only updated my increased tire size and the automatic transmission shift firmness. All other parameters were left in stock format. I took it out for another test drive. I immediately noticed a significant improvement in driveability in a normal "safe & sane" mode of operation. I found a long straight stretch of unoccupied back road and I mashed the gas pedal from a rolling 15 MPH start. The response was instantaneous and impressive until I backed off when I realized I was already doing 70 MPH! I was converted on the spot to a true believer in this product. Now my truck really feels like it has a V-10 in it. The product is very easy to use, instructions are top notch, and it delivers on it's promise 100%, in my humble opinion. I would recommend this product to anyone else looking for top shelf performance from their Ford V-10 motors. Kudos to the Hypertech folks for a fine product. Their Tech Support Line is also a great resource. They answered all my questions up front, before I activated the programmer and made my selections. No surprises just awesome results!!"

Hypertech gives boost with regular hypertech program

"There is deffinetly some more kick in the pedal now. On passing gear you can really feel it, though it has been wet out since i have programmed my pickup it is already quite noticable. Worth this price, probably not worth the extra 100 it would cost from a local store though."

"I'm only using the 87 fuel level, but do not see a huge difference in power. Will try the 93 setting. Although I have seen an increase in sustaining fuel."

"I INSTALLED THE HYPERTECHIII ON A 99 FORD F-250 SUPERDUTY 4X4 WITH OVER 100,000 MILES I HAVE NOTICED MORE POWER THEN I THOUGHT WAS EVER THERE I ALSO NOTICED INCREASED GAS MILAGE AND WITH THE PRICE OF FUEL THAT BY ITS SELF WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR ME TO INSTALL IT BUT THE POWER IS WHAT I WANTED AND THE GAINS IN POWER, THE TRUCK ALWAYS HAD A LOT OF TORQUE BUT THE LITTLE FAST CARS COULG GET PAST BEFORE THE BIG DIESEL WOULD WIND UP NOW I GIVE THEM ALL A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY"

"I was impressed with the amount of increase in power I got. Reset several times with same results. Hypertech Costumer Service was very knowable on product (called about an issue). Haven't had truck dynode yet but blew the doors off a stock hemi 2005 from stoplight to stoplight. Shifting is closer celebrated with power range increase. Will continue to do business with Auto Anything, never any problems there!"

"Just programmed my vehicle with this a few weeks ago and have noticed small differences throughout the RPM range. I have not noticed any fuel MPG savings, but it has only been a few weeks and I will give it some time to see if any develop over time. So far, The performance improvement on my fully loaded, manual 6 speed transmission 1999 Chevy Corvette Convertible has been slight, but having the flexibility that the programmer gives (i.e. when to turn cooling fans on, etc.) among the other options is a nice plus. Overall a bit pricey, but if you want to squeeze every ounce of power out of your vehicle and don't mind the price - this will do it for you!"

"I was very happy with the product. It was not quite the gain i recieved with my diesel motor, but it was worth the price. I've tried th 93 and 87 both work. Especially like the fact that there is no more bog with my small to medium trailers."

"I installed this in my 2005 2500 GMC and what a difference! I do a lot of boat towing, and the power and fuel mileage both increased noticably.I stayed with program 2 for my needs.The HYPERTECH works as advertised,money well spent!"

Programmer for 8.1 liter

"I was not able to notice a significant difference in power and torque but have yet to pull the heavy loads with it. The 8.1 liter is already such a strong engine it may be difficult to notice a 10% increase running empty. I thought about returning the item but I was surprised by a 2mpg increase in fuel efficiency. When I go from 8mpg to 10mpg, thats about $1000 a year for me! How can I make a mistake with the Power Programmer III when after 5 months it pays for itself?!?"
