"really did not see to much of a difference. shifting did improve but when i accelerated to fast i can hear a clank from my tranny. truck is new and just came from ford dealership."

"I have tried many programers and I like the Hypertech the best. You can return to stock in 5 min. if you have to go to the dealer for anything- no wires or modules to remove. Plus the power is awsome and hypertech is the only programer that is safe for towing, all others you have to remove or turn down. My LBZ puts down 842 ft/lbs and 433 horses at the rearwheels. Intake, exhaust and hypertech is the Duramax secret combo."

"an excellent product for the money!although there was a minimal but noticable increase in horse power the hypertech power programmer allowed me to customize my shift points on my trans mission and increase my top speed limit conciderably.
my automatic transmission now has the shifting personality of a manual....when you put it to the rugs it goes through the gears with no delays,which in turn makes for a faster ride.i would recommend this product to anyone who is trying to upgrade the performance of thier vehicle and do not want to break the bank doing it."

"I primaraly purchased the programer to amend the large tire size difference , from a stock 31 inch tall tire to a 35 inch tall tire so that the speedo would remain acurate. A few days after instal I realized that wow midrange is noticably stronger... hmm good. Also I live at about 7000 ft elevation and set the programer for high octane gas even though I run the cheep stuff 85 octane. Due to the lower air density I was told that it would run better that way. So far so good, two weeks later and no pinging or run on. Don't expect a huge hp increase but I can deffinately feel the difference."

"My SST was strong from the get go and the gas mileage was okay for a truck with that kind of power. After I plugged in the Hypertech Power Programmer III it has awesome throttle response, more power and 1-3 MPG depending if I have my foot in it or not. My truck has never run better. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to add a little more kick and still add the MPG."

"program for 87 octane. Noticed sharper responce, about 1 mpg better on gas, firmer shifts. Not bad. Worth it in the long run. Stock suv with only K&N replacement air filter."

"I installed this on my 2004 Dodge Ram with the Cummins diesel. I'm using stage 3 and my truck pulls my 9500 pound trailer without breaking a sweat! Much quicker throttle response and has added about 1.5 mpg when not towing. My towing mpg has stayed about the same or maybe a little lower, but the power increase makes it worth it. Paid $249 for the Hypertech Programmer which is about 1/2 the price of other diesel programmers and chips, so I'm very happy with my new Hypertech Programmer III purchase. Not only do I get better performance, but I can clear check engine codes and I can change from stock to level 1, 2 or 3 in a matter of minutes, and when I take it into the dealer, I can reprogram stock settings in less than 5 minutes.
I can't comment on gas engines, but if you have a diesel, I'd say BUY ONE!!!"

"i used it and noticed a big differance in shift firmness and difinatly like the improved shift points. i noticed a improvement in in mid and high range power. i cant tell about gas milage i have a heavy foot. i recomend it for anyone who wants better shifting"

"I Have a 02 Dodge 3/4 ton, the power curve is much higher, no dead spots, empty I now get 19.6mpg , loaded 15.8--at the pice of fuel this will pay for it's seft in less then two years. Thanks Hyperteck"

"Easy to use. Directions are thorough. I left the rev limiter at factory settings because it shifts at the red line anyway but changed the shift firmness and the top end limiter. The car runs fine with the program installed but it stalls out after the first star up in the morning. It is fine the rest of the day. I reset it to factory spec and the stalling went away. I plan on trying it again. It did add fun to the drive on my supercharged Monte SS"

"The Hypertech programmer added the extra power that I needed to tow my fifth wheel trailer. It was easy to install and I like that I can reset any feature at any time. Nice product and much cheaper through autoanything!

"I had trouble with Auto Anything about if I recieved the product. The "great" fed ex person posted that they left it at the front door. They in no way did, because that address is open from 5 AM to 6 PM. They make three drops per day there. O-well. After arguing with Auto Anything for a week and them never calling me back when they said they would. I kept calling and finaly they sent me another one. his is my second programmer from Hypertech and they were both great. They do everything they say and it is easy to install. Good product."

"The programmer is very user freindly. The power difference is really noticable when under a load. or just hard on the thottle. The order arrived on time. When I placed the order online, I ordered the wrong part. I called the help line and had to leave a message. They called me back and helped me correct the problem. That is customer service. Thank you."

"when i order the programmer before the tire sizes were 265/75/16 the current one that i have does not have the same opions it measures in inchs so my speedomitor it off by 5 miles per hour at 70 miles per hour"
