"What can I say... instant power and performance upgrade. I am using the 65 hp program and increased my fuel economy on top of the performance gains. I netted about 3mpg total with the 5" exhaust and cold air intake upgrades. I recommend it, along with contacting Diablosport for their input. You have a diesel like me... go for it"

"I purchased the Diablo Predator tuner to get more mileage and power out of my 2000 Excursion with the 7.3 TD. It was easy to use out of the box with simple instructions. I first loaded the 40 hp tow mode. Performance was improved but shift quality was a bit firm for my use. I then loaded the 85 hp program and really felt the seat of the pants performance and liked the shift quality. I performed this update before I made a 2K mile trip to the rocky mountains. 1-2 miles better fuel economy and a rocket on the road. No problems passing other vehicles at 75-80 mph or climbing intense mountain grades. Highly recommended Dwain"

"Have an '05 powerstroke, with intake/exhaust and thot it was quick. Until my cuz blew my doors off with his hemi ram. We raced again after install, and beat him by 10 truck lengths. THIS THING IS PRICELESS!!! Easy to use, lots of additional features, recommend to ANYONE!!! Also got 3mpg avg higher. Love the black smoke too. BUY BUY BUY"

"If you are tire friendly, then this is not for you. I have a 2007 Dodge Charger Superbee and the Predator really brought it to life. Faster acceleration, more powerful shifting and alot more power to the rear wheels. The Ford Shelby gt 500 in my town won't even come out when I'm out in the charger after 4 beatings he took. If you have the srt8 then u really need the predator"

"After receiving my Pedator Tuner from AutoAnyThing, the first thing I did was connect it to the Diablo website to see if was up to date. Read some horror stories from people who bought from other vendors. To my surprise It was shipped with the latest updates. To top that off AutoAnyThing even through in the USB cable and AC plug in with the tuners sale price! Not only did I save on the price of the tuner, but I also saved in not having to pay for the USB cable and an AC plug! You guy ROCK!!!!!!!"

2005 GTO Out-of-the-box Results

"I bracket race my car at an 1/8 mile track and had a race Saturday and Sunday at the same track and very similar weather conditions. The stock tune was used the first night with a best of 8.970 and 80.26 mph. I put in the 91 octane performance tune the next day and ran a best of 8.714 and 83.67 mph. I am very happy with the performance increase. There is also a data logging feature that looks very good for fine tuning. I watched some of the log but haven't tuned using it yet. One disappointment that would only affect a few buyers is that I believe the fan setting is incorrect for my car. My car has 2-stage fans that turn on and off at specific temperatures. Apparently some 2005 GTO's had variable speed fans that operate at a percent of full power at different temperatures. The tuner is set for the variable fans. By researching forums on the internet and trial and error, I found settings that would start the fans at 199 degrees. I wanted it cooler so I also found settings that would run the fans on low all the time and that keeps the temp down to 194 at idle with my stock thermostat."

"I wish i bought it sooner. I noticed a difference on the 87 octane setting. Improved performance AND economy. Dont try it on the performance setting unless you have the exhaust and intake mods. trips the check engine light."

"I bought this with the hopes of improving the mileage on my 07 Yukon Denali. Well it worked !!! I was able to gain between 3.5 and 4 mpg on the highway running between 65 and 75 mph. Still looking to see how it did around town . This is easy to use and only takes 5 to 10 minutes to make your changes."

"I have had Predator the tuner installed about two weeks on my Z06 Corvette. With a five hundred plus horsepower car, it is hard to know whether the tuner has increased overall horsepower. I can say that throttle response has improved, and the car runs more smoothly and quietly. Eliminating the skip shift feature also is an improvement. The product is well worth it for the Z06 in terms of how it improves day-to-day driveability. I expect to do some track driving later this year and should have a better sense of what it does for overall power."

"Overall, I am very pleased with the DiabloSport tuner. After selecting the 87 octane tune, I immediately noticed a gain in acceleration. After 40 or 50 miles, I'm getting 1.7 mpg better than stock. I have a K&N air filter and a Magnaflow exhaust. I have just started to tinker with the advanced programming to see if I can get further gains. Great product. Don"

"The tuner is very easy to install and only takes about 10 to 20 minutes. The menu is easy to read. Shift firmness and tire size, as well as other options, are easy to adjust. Here’s the best part. The tuner added a lot of power to my Hemi. My 0 to 60 time dropped about a full second. My 0 to 100 time dropped nearly 2 seconds! Not bad for a plug and play tuner. Now for the bad news, or more good news depending on your perspective, the extra power limits the ability of the traction control system. The ETC doesn’t limit wheel spin much if I floor it from a stop. I have found that it does activate at speed though. All and all a pretty nice piece of equipment."

"The upgraded tune does provide for slightly better responsiveness in my 08 Escalade. It also was very handy to adjust the speedo for the plus size tires I have on the vehicle. The Mfg. was also very smart in that they put a warning label on the screen telling you that if the product doesn't light up when you plug it in to check a specific fuse. This happened to me and it saved me hours of diagnosis time. The interface is a little cryptic but it works for it's purpose."

"I purchased the Diablo Predator because it had 120hp available for my 360hp 06'GMC 2500HD crewcab 4x4 Duramax.It gave my truck a real wake up boost, I immediately went and had a 4" exhaust installed since it was recommended. The first time I drove it after installing the tuner, the truck spun the tires with very little effort. The black smoke just rolled out and with the new exhaust it sounds like a beast. My 16 yr old son said, "It sounds like a combination between a Kenworth and a big-block V-8." With the cold-air intake I have on it, I figure I'm over 500 hp. One friend called it more "funability"."

"The installation inself was very easy. The stock install on my truck takes 91 octane. I wanted the 87 octane tune that I was told I could have. Well, no where in the instructions or while installing the program was I prompted for anything about a lower or higher octane tune. After calling DiabloSport I was told that for the lower or higher octane tune you have to go in your self and remove or add timing. It was easy to do, just no where at all in the instuctions. Other than that a really great product. You will instantly feel a real power difference. I picked up a full mile per gallon which I was also very impressed with."
