"The upgraded tune does provide for slightly better responsiveness in my 08 Escalade. It also was very handy to adjust the speedo for the plus size tires I have on the vehicle.
The Mfg. was also very smart in that they put a warning label on the screen telling you that if the product doesn't light up when you plug it in to check a specific fuse. This happened to me and it saved me hours of diagnosis time.
The interface is a little cryptic but it works for it's purpose."

"I purchased the Diablo Predator because it had 120hp available for my 360hp 06'GMC 2500HD crewcab 4x4 Duramax.It gave my truck a real wake up boost, I immediately went and had a 4" exhaust installed since it was recommended. The first time I drove it after installing the tuner, the truck spun the tires with very little effort. The black smoke just rolled out and with the new exhaust it sounds like a beast. My 16 yr old son said, "It sounds like a combination between a Kenworth and a big-block V-8." With the cold-air intake I have on it, I figure I'm over 500 hp. One friend called it more "funability"."

"The installation inself was very easy. The stock install on my truck takes 91 octane. I wanted the 87 octane tune that I was told I could have. Well, no where in the instructions or while installing the program was I prompted for anything about a lower or higher octane tune. After calling DiabloSport I was told that for the lower or higher octane tune you have to go in your self and remove or add timing. It was easy to do, just no where at all in the instuctions. Other than that a really great product. You will instantly feel a real power difference. I picked up a full mile per gallon which I was also very impressed with."

"I have a 2005 Silverado with the LQ9 motor and I have to say the tuner was A piece of cake to install and the options to tune is awesome.I had A couple of questions and called tech center and it was great to talk to someone I could understand and have my answer explained to the last detail."

"Easy to install, takes only minutes. I used the 93 Octane CAI tune. A huge difference is power and response. Smooth, firm shifts and enough power to liquify the tires through second gear. Outstanding."

"Overall pretty nice programmer. i was doing to try some other company but the staff at AA recommended this one for my truck. Pretty satisfied so far. I've tried both the 87 and 93 performance tunes so far. The real difference is with the premium tune (93 tune). I havent messed with the individual mods yet but that will be comming after a few more tanks of gas. Constant and steady acceleration throughout rpm range is obvious as opposed to the stock "sputters". VERY easy to install literally done in less than 5 minutes. Not sure about the MPG gain cause i just love the feel of more power to the ground. Smoother shifts and steady engine."

"I didn't know what to expect but wanted to increase the HP and decrease the "lag" between shifts in gears...MPG was secondary. I can definately tell a noticable difference in power although the shifting between gears (automatic) is very rough ("klunk" as gears shift). Overall, I am pleased and it sounds fantastic with my Magnaflow exhaust and K&N intake......"

"At first the Predator feels a little cheap in your hands but, then you load the program... and at that point you realize your mom has been right all along. All that really matters is whats inside. The Predator not only improved my MPG by 4 (when I can keep my foot out of it) it woke my truck up and turned it into a monster. I recommend you install guages, intake and exhaust BEFORE you add the Predator to your vehicle."

"Read the review it said you didn't really need the extra cable so you could download updates, found out that was wrong so i got gouged another fifty bucks for the cable because it wouldn't work unless i downloaded some new update right away. So i downloaded the new update and it still didn't work so i had to call and talk to someone and they e-mailed me a new CROM file to download and then it was super easy to put in my pickup. So far i'm really impressed it added quite abit of get up and go i've noticed a slight increase in fuel milage but i can't seem to keep my foot out of it. I do believe all in all it is worth the money and time."

"I'm still on my first tank, but I have to say that this thing seems to be great so far. Immediately noticed the increase in response, HP, and Torque. Would definitely recommend to others. I'll hold final judgement when I check my gas mileage after this tank."
