"I installed the Superchips Programmer, Airaid cold air intake and throttle body spacer all at once. I could not tell the difference with the throttle body spacer but the intake plus Programmer really impressed me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for more power. I just have to find out how to turn off the MDS off because the engine makes a horrible sound with my dual Flowmaster 40 series exhaust when only running on 4 cylinders. As for improving gas mileage, I DIDNT BUY A TRUCK TO SAVE GAS!"

"No question about it, I can feel the improvement in performance in the seat of my pants with the superchip performance program running in my truck. I previously installed a K@N air filter and a Gibson catback exhaust system, so this my help overall performance with the chip. I also use only premium fuel in this 4.0 Ranger Edge 2005 pickup. Needless to say I am well pleased. One word of caution. In the 2005 4.0 truck, you will need to enter 87 octane or the program will not load. Do not worry about that if you plan on using premium fuel. It will certainly boos performance and fuel economy if you drive responsibly."

"I have only used the chip in tow mode. It really did wonders to help give my 5.3 GMC the extra boost i needed to get up the steep hills while towing my 6000 lb camper."

"The Flashpaq is great. We have an '07 F250 with an 8" lift and 38" tires, and originally purchased it just to correct the recordings since the oversize tires throws that all way off. But you notice instant power and better shifting it's easy to install. Great for reading the CEL codes (Turbo). The first one made such a differnce in Economy the father in law bought it right off my hands. So this is a repeat purchase. Others might be just as good, but this one is Great. AutoAnything however is another story. Big bold advertisement. Superchips sales get Free Overnight Shipping. GREAT! The local shop wants $150 more then online. We ordered it on a Wednesday night (should be here Friday easy) Didn't show up until Monday. That's 5 days later I have had Ground packages sooner. No biggie, Free is Free right, except when your billed 15.00 for it. Also this e-mail is the LAST e-mail I'll be getting from them! Even though we opted out of the mailings I am certain we have gotten about 10 e-mails from them in 2 weeks. Seriously guys. Pathetic."

"Wow i love this programmer. It outperforms the JET chip i had before and gives more options. Although its a little pricey, i would definitely buy again. The fact that its internet updateable is a huge plus as well. I only use top of the line products on my jeep and this is definitely top of the line. I tuned my engine for 91 octane fuel, adjusted my speedo for 32" tires, and removed the top speed and rev limiters. The JET chip could never do all of that. Definitely recommend this tuner for auto enthusiasts"

"I have'nt been able to use it much, but the shifting has definetly gotten smoother. I've only used the 87 octane setting for any extended time (200 miles). I want to use the fuel saver mode next, but I'm enjoying the extra power with the current setting. Dont even know if I'll use performance. That would require 91 octane, and I'm fairly cheap. Maeby some day. I definetly reccomend the tuner though. I'm in no hurry to sell my 9 year old truck anymore."

"My 2005 Avalanche Z71 has the 5.3 with the 3:42 gears so it's a dog driving around town. I bought this to see if it would help performance a little in city driving. It didn't help that too much at all, but in the Mileage XS Save mode I did notice almost 2 mpg on the highway. At about 75 mph I used to get between 16-17 and now I get about 18-19 average mpg (this is on a 300 mile trip, resetting the mileage computer after filling up). Overall I am pleased with this unit as I will need it anyway to install my 4:10 gears and bigger wheels/tires."

"I received my flashpaq within a few days of my order. I immediately updated the software (via the web) and installed the programmer on my Nissan Titan 4x4 just in time for vacation. The light tow mode got almost 2 mpg better than the stock. You can feel the added power and throttle response, especially in performance mode! I would definitely recommend this product!!"

"Easy and trouble free installation (after a few attempts). Our 2000 K1500 5.3 Suburban pulling our 28 ft. travel trailer was programmed with the tow mode. Trip from southwest Wisconsin to Bristol, TN and back was about 1700 miles. Very noticeable torque increase on long hills compared to same trip last year. A few small problems cropped up that are unresolved yet. Vehicle clock resets time to various settings about 50% of the time on startup. Occasionally, when coming to a stop, transmission would not downshift to 1st gear until manually selected. All upshifts were perfect but a little rough on part throttle....perfect under full throttle. So far, so good."

"can definitely tell a difference with the tuning the flashpaq gave me. I especially like the fact that you can change the tire size, take off the rev limiter, and take off the speed governor. One thing to be careful of is to use the performance mode you have to use 91 or higher rated gasoline. Other than that its a great buy!"

"Although most reviews and feedback from "experts" in the field indicated I would improve MPG by only 0.5 - 1 mpg, I have experienced a 1.5 - 2 mpg improvement. I drive at an elevation of 5000-6000 ft and use 85 octane fuel. Coupled with the stock replacement K&N air filter (not the entire air intake kit), this programmer has taken my jeep from 15 mpg to an average of 18 mpg. I would recommend this programmer; it will pay for itself within a year or two."

"I've always been a bit skeptical of tuners, it was misplaced, plugged the thing in and in less than five minutes it was like a whole new truck, they should have this kind of off idle torque and hill pulling power from the factory. Its not entirely without flaws, on the 87 tunes there's a slight ping when you grab a taller gear, I tried 90 and it went away. Mileage seems about the same which was dissappointing. Overall I think its a great unit."

"I bought this mainly to adjust the speedo to larger tires, but the performance packages really did better that I expected. I expect there will be a few more options to download in the future, but for now, it does a great job."

"I have used two of the tunes in this programmer and am pretty happy with both of them. The first tune I used was the Economy tune. This tune increased my mileage by just about 5%. I need to run through a few more tanks of gas to ensure it was the tune and not just a coincidence. I also used the tow tune. The tow tune seemed to help out on those big hills."
