"Like I said this is a super product and was a great buy at Auto Anything. I noticed a considerable increase in power right from the start. I am still working at recalibrating my speedodometer due to an increase in tire size but expect to get it right soon. I would recommend this product and AutoAnything.com for sure!"

Flashpaq - Engine size matters.

"This is the second Flashpaq I have bought and used within the last year. The first was used on a 2005 Ford F250 pickup with a 5.4 gas engine. The reason I purchased this Flashpaq was I was towing a 29 ft. trailer (RV) and the vehicle simpley was not powerfull enough to pull the trailer without shifting into passing gear (3500 rpm) going up small hills and at times just keeping up with traffic. I purchased the tuner hoping that I could tow without the truck screeming half the time I was towing. While the tuner did help somewhat it really came down that the engine was not large enough to pull the trailer. Soooooo out with the Ford gas engine and we purchased a 2006 Chevy Silverado 6.6 diesel engine. This vehicle had more power than I would ever need but I felt I could improve the miles per gallon since I was paying up to .30 cents per gallon over gasoline and although the gas engine could not be helped powerwise I did like the diffrence in shifting and smoothness while excelerating. I purchased the Flashpaq for the diesel through AutoAnything (where I bought the first tuner, they're price was just the lowest I could find on both occasions.) After reprograming the diesel I was amazed at the power and smoothness of the engine, it seemed effortless in acceleration from a stop or while passing. I also picked up a shade over 2 mph in town. When towing, the truck had no problem on hills, passing or starting out from a stop, what a world of diffrence. In short if you have a vehicle that is capable of towing and you want more power, better running and improved miles per gallon buy the Flashpaq."

"I have the 4.6l engine in my supercrew f150. Before I installed the programmer it was pretty "gutless." I can't believe the difference this thing made. The factory settings really choke the engine down. This programmer allows you to really open it up, even on 87 octane fuel. It only takes about ten minutes to install. I have yet to try the performance setting, maybe after this tank of gas. I think it is well worth the money if you want to add a little pick me up to your engine."

"Very impressive, easy to use, took a little longer to download program to the truck than I thought but, after it was complete I could not believe the difference. Really woke that Hemi up!! I have since installed a Volant cold air intake and a Airaid throttle body spacer which completes my project for now. The Bee runs like a Scalded Dog."

"What a boost! Very happy with the added power and tourqe. I was suprised to find that I was able to adjust the tire size, Ford Motor Company told me that It could not be done and that I could not change the specs for the F-250 SuperDuty to a 38" tire and a 6" suspension lift but there it was on the Superchip plain as day, I was also able to change the transmission shifting variables, (which was needed with the larger tire size.) 20 minute programing process!! I am very happy with the results and very pleased with the service from AUTOANYTHING Waiting for their 2007 catalogue. (We need pictures to go with the reviews!!!)"

"This is a good product. Easy to install. It increases low/top end acceleration and power. Before the flash paq, I could do a decent peelout from a dead stop. Now, not only is it better, but if I floor it, it will peelout while rolling in first gear. Very cool!"

"The Superchips Programmer performed exactly as advertised. It added timing and fuel at exactly the right points in the RPM range. The Performance 91 setting took some torque from the low end and added it to the mid range - This helped with traction. Most effective is being able to set the shift points to a higher RPM. This programmer is well worth the money. I’m currently averaging 14.4 mpg - I drive it hard!"

"I was a little nervous about messing with the programming of an already fast car, with less thn 10,000 mi on it, but after reassurance from Flashpaq support, I decided to give it a try.
Man, am I glad I did. The Flashpaq is very user-friendly and the programing only took about 10 min., as advertised. Even for someone not particlarly adept at auto repairs.
The performance gains are impressive. The Hemi is more responsive, acceleration is improved and the roar it lets out when you stomp on it now is awesome.
By far, the easiest, most "bang for your buck", do it yourself, performance up-grade I know of."

"I have 05 f-350 crew cab 6.0 Power stroke 4x4. Installing Superchips took only a few minouts, but WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! It feels like at least 30% more power. This big truck will run pretty tight with my brothers 05 350z. I have had no problems at all. MPG has also increased from 11.4 to 13. MORE POWER BETTER MILAGE WIN WIN."

"Lets see....I installed a flowmaster 40 series muffler and an AFE cold air intake and saw some significant improvements. Only problem was after I installed the AFE kit my idle rev was almost at a stall. I installed the flashpaq tuner and this issue was alleviated. The tuner also made the shifts much smoother. Obviously my truck is still a "truck" but its fast and pulls hard all the way to 100. I smoked a Dodge 5.9L R/T!! JBA headers are going on next week. Its not a cheap item, but the fact that you can grow with the tuners downloadable features is a huge plus. I would buy it again."

"I got alot more horsepower than I ever thought was possible. My sick little 4.6 F-150 came to life. The shift points are much harder now than they ever were at stock and the belt squeels way to hard during each shift because the engine is just going way too fast for the components but as long as I keep my foot out of the motor it runs much better now."

Odometer Correction Failure
Posted on 11/23/2006 by Tommy D. (Sweetwater,TX)
0 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"My only immmediate need for the Flash Paq Tuner was to correct the odometer on my 2005 GMC Sierra because I had installed the next larger tire size. The first try at correcting the tire size gave about a 3.125% error in mileage on 35 miles using interstate mileage markers. I made a significant change on the tuner tire size input and still had the 3 plus per cent error. The tuner I received did not correct the odometer and Superchips insisted that it worked as intended and did not offer to inspect, check or correct it. I returned it to AutoAnything. An independent mechanic told me that because of Federal emmission requirements it is problably not possibel to correct for tire size changes. Carefully verify if your need can be performed by a product."
