"I just purchased my Superchips Flashpaq from AutoAnything.com for my '97 Chevy 1500 2WD 5.7L that has 102,... miles on it, and I can honestly say it runs better than it did the day I drove it home from the dealership in the summer of '97. When I first bought the truck I put the old style chip in it and dual exhaust and the K&N Filter Charger system on it and it has always held its own from stop light to stop light but nothing woke it up like the new Flashpaq. Using the Performance option, the Flashpaq adjusted the shift points, raised the rev limited and raised the speed limiter along with a little extra HP. I highly recommend the Superchips Flashpaq, whether you just drove your truck home yesterday or 10 years ago."

05 F-150 4.6L at a Mile High

"Autoanthing did a great job on shipping,received it in 1 day.As for the tuner it was less impressive than expected,first thing out of the box I plugged it in and only 1/2 of the screen worked.Put the 87 octane program in and noticed a slight increase in power,this is at 5300ft elev.No increase in mileage noticed,drove like this for 5 days.Next tried the 91 octane program followed the instructions went back to verify program was installed and it said it was,found out a week later after 3 tanks of premium fuel that it had not installed.During this time I had driven from colorado to Las Vegas, the closer I got to Vegas the better the performance [ie.HP] got,in vegas is when I found out the 91 program did not take.The truck runs very good here in vegas on the 87 program.Also at first go around I changed shift points and shift pressures to superchips values and it would constantly shift down and stay in third way too long thus hurting mileage,changed these in vegas and it is much better,but still working with these.In summary in my opinion if you live in colorado or at altitudes above 4000ft dont expect to see the kind of gains that superchips claims,and also the instruction book that comes with it is not very helpful in trying to fine tune, that will be on a trial and error basis.My truck has a superflow muffler and cold air intake"

"just hooked the supertuner up and followed the on screen instructions.i kept it on the 87 ootane so the increases are minimal ,but i like it. when i tow our boat i will use 93 octane and reprogram. check back with you after we get back. see ya!"

"I was shocked on how easy it was to install. I have an 07 chevy with the 6.0 and it made a world of difference, no more cutting out at 95 mph. Improved my mpg by 1 to 1.5 miles. Its great that you can use 87 octane and there's not too much difference between it and the 91 octane program."

"I was very impress with the performance I received from the Superchip Flashpaq Tuner. The power difference was amazing while the highway mileage improved 3-4 mpg. I run 33" tires and it was nice to calibrate my speedometer to the oversize tires. Now I know what speed I am going."

Tuner Is Just OK

"Briefly stated, I thought for the price the tuner could have more functions such as converter lock up and more finite control over fuel shut off. Didn't see any improvement in regular fuel performance. Maybe the Tirepaq would have been a better choice for me."

"Before I got the tunner my truck was giving me about 340 miles per 30 gallon tank. I bought this tuner and a K&N intake and now I'm getting 400+. Not to mention the power increase. I haven't even try the 91 octane tune. Try it! is worth the money."

"Seems to be pretty good in that it jumped the performance, took the lazyness out of the tranny, and now the speed-o is correct. No pinging problems and now when you let out around a corner and step back in the throtle it is in the right gear which allows the 6 liter to repsond real well."

"I bought this super chip for my 2005 Dodge ram with the 5.7 Hemi Magnum being a little hesitant,BUT now that I have use it, MAN the House Power is Awesome,INSTANT House Power gain,Throttle response is instant with NO hesitation,My truck blew the doors off my brother-in-laws Dodge Charger,I have some minor modification too,Dual exhaust,I am adding a set of Gibson headers in jan,to go with my Gibson dual exhaust system,MY advise BUY one you wont be disappointed and I also increased my gas mileage. GRAP LIFE BY THE HORNS DODGE RAM HEMI POWER."

"I thought that my cold air intake and dual exhausts were about as good as it gets with my stock 2006 Ram Hemi but I set it up for performance and 91 oct and it's a whole new level of performance. Trans mission shift is big improvement and that cold air intake is getting the fuel it needs now! Getting better mileage even on performance setting but haven't checked exactly--having too much fun with my foot in the throttle. This is money well spent even if you don't want the high performance advantage. I want to try the economy setting with 87 and check mileage but don't know if I can do without the power now!!! Guess it depends on how high gas goes. Rambo Chipster"

"After using other power tuning modules before such as hypertech, jet, etc... I read up on the reviews about superchips and liked what I heard so I bought one and it was the best decision yet. I love this programmer it changed my shift points, gave me more power, torque, and better gas mileage (16-21) compared to (14-18) ultimately its like driving a whole new truck. Recommend 100%."

"I have seen a slight increase in power, torque, and gas mileage. I have it set on the 87 octane right now. I think I will have to try out the higher octane setting. It was easy to install and I can tell a difference in performance."

"This tuner did everything it said it would but with less options to do so than I expected from it. It should allow the trans pressures and shift points to be adjusted as the drivers prefer not just by what the developing programmers decided would be good for everybody. Other options would be better if they were adjustable as well. My bellybutton is different than yours even though we both have one. Ron, Bellingham Wa."

"The Flashpaq which I purchased from AutoAnything has been great so far. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 with the Cummins engine, 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires. There is a much larger increase in power than I expected in both tow and performance modes. Fuel mileage alone has made a great difference. Fuel mileage inmproved by 3 to 4 miles per gallon."

"I originally purchased this to do away with the speed limiter set by the factory, but got a LOT more! More torqe, More power, better shifting, and better MPG - was getting between 18 and 19mpg, now its around 22mpg. The product couldn't be more simple to use! It was money well spent!"

"The device was very easy to use. I installed this unit in conjunction w/ a cold air intake system. Overall performance has increased, have not had the oppurtunity to monitor these mods pulling my camper. I did get 19 mpg on a 50 mile rt interstate journey at 70mph+..... let the ponies run.... Installing new plugs and wires next and headers/new exhaust may be installed in the future."

I combined the the Superchips flashpaq's "performance" tune w/a cold-air intake and was amazed at the results! To get this kind of performance without upgrading any engine/transmission parts, proves that the flashpaq is definitely worth the investment."
