"The upgrade is OK, not great like you would get with a deisel. A little better power and response is all you'll get to be honest. If money is not a problem go with it, but it is expensive for the return on performance. I do like the fact that you can up grade on line."

"My Truck is far from stock, I have 10 inches of suspension lift plus a body lift for a total of 13 inches. I am running 38.5x14.5" Thornbirds with stock 3.73 gearing, so I was looking for a little power increase but recaliberating my transmission shift points and shift pressure along with the speedometer change for my tire size was a bigger factor. I programmed my truck at the highest performance setting right away. My truck had great power before with a 6.0L Vortec Max engine, a cold air intake, a throttle body spacer, and true-dual exhaust; my power in 1st and 2nd gear was great, but once I hit 3rd, I usually lost more rpms than what I wanted, but now my flashpaq tuner has definantly solved that problem. My transmission shifts much smoother and faster than it used to and I no longer experiance the power loss there was before, it feels like power shifting now. I really can't say the horsepower increase is that noticable though, but its a great product. Autoanything was great to deal with, and their price is about $100 less than most other places."

"Along with the Flashpaq my truck also includes a MOPAR cold-air intake & cat-back exhaust! WOW what a difference, not only is there more useable power but, much more economy. I went from constant 10 mpg in town to a constant 14 mpg! Highway mileage also increased, from 20 mpg to 22 mpg! The Flashpaq even increased my milage when towing fairly heavy loads; the increase from 8-9 mpg to 13-14 mpg is fantastic! This is the best tuner on the market as far as I am concerned!!!!!"

"I have a Chevy 3500 8.1 with the Allison Transmission. Done alot of research and finally decided on the Superchips Flashpaq tuner. I pull a 24 ft Titan (steel) trailer loaded with about 14,000 lbs. Prior to the tuner I was gettin 9mpg pulling......I have since jumped to little over 13mpg and the additional power is very noticeable. I tested each of the programs "Economy", "Tow" and "Performance" and let me tell ya I wont be in the "Performance" mode very often as the power produced was intimidating.....from a dead stop it just simply boiled the tires and at 120 mph there was plenty of pedal and plenty of power still available. Definately worth the money!!!! Easy to program and after doing it a couple of times it now only takes 3-4 minutes to program another mode. Great investment and my hats off to you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I installed this and used it for the performance setting and when installed after putting in 91 octane it ran like a scallded dog. I could almost not keep it in a straight line.
I have not had it long enough to tell about any milage gain but with the less effort it takes to run it only makes sense that the milage would go up if only a bit."

"Fast delivery. No complaints at all. I first downloaded updates by connecting to my computer. Tuning my Tahoe was cake and the results are great. Much smoother shifting points, improved mid-range, and better MPG. I feel really good that I can revert back to factory settings anytime I want."

"Gas mileage is the same. Power on the other hand is like night and day. The trans shifts 100 percent better. It feels like a different truck. Its nice to be able to go faster than 96 mph too, since you can raise the speed limiter."

"The Flash Paq has really helped the performance of my '07 F150, especially between 50 to 80 MPH. The factory settings made the engine lacking in passing power. The engine seemed to go flat in this area. Now when I attempt to pass someone the engine pulls strong through these speeds and makes passing a lot easier. Mileage seems to have increased a little but not as much as I had hoped."

"AutoAnything was great, got everything in fast turn around time at a fraction of the cost. Unit was defective, got great support from manufacture. (Replaced unit) once installed, my Dodge diesel woke up to become a new beast. Old truck used to have Bully Dog product, New truck trying out the Flashpaq. Alot more user friendly, and shifting with the flaspaq seems less abusive on the transmission."

"I bought the Flash Paq tuner based on the positive reviews and the fact that it is an upgradable device. I received the item promptly from AutoAnything...thanks! Previous modifications to my 2007 Tahoe include rear drop coils and cold air intake. Also has OEM 20's and is lubricated with Amsoil products. I was looking for a little more power off the line, so I decided to try a programer. Installing the programer was easy and the whole process took about 15 minutes. There are different level settings, and I choose the 87 octane. I immediately noticed a change in the shifting through the lower gears. It was quick and smooth, shifting naturally during acceleration. My only concern was that for the first 30 miles, I heard some pinging of the valves. Not a comforting noise, but it has ceased, so I figure the on-board computer self-adjusted the timing (I plan on contacting Superchips to see if the pinging is common). I have not had it long enough to comment on the fuel milage. All in all, a great tuner if you're looking for better transmission shifting. If your expecting noticable horsepower changes, sorry my friend, you won't notice it on a 2007 Tahoe without more modifications. Still worth the money!"

"The tuner is awesome. I have only used performance mode so far on my F250. I peeled out in reverse backing out of my driveway the first time driving it. It definitely gave me ALOT more horsepower..Would definitely buy it again"

"I have a 2004 F250 crew cab Ford which is a heavy truck. It has the 5.4 gas engine which is no power house. My mileage is generally in the 12-14 mpg range. I ordered the Flashpaq to get more power and better ecomony. I know the power boost on a diesel engine is significant, up to 150 extra hp. The Flashpaq on a gas is rated up to 27hp. I installed the Flashpaq which went reasonably well, it took about 20 minutes (once you know how to do it it only takes a few minutes for a change). There are 3 settings, performance, tow-safe, and economy. The first two setting take 91 octane, the economy setting takes 87 octane. I tried the performance setting first. I could tell a huge difference from the very start. There was a very noticable power boost, quicker acceleration and just a lighter feel to the truck. The shift points were a lot tighter with a noticable jump at every shift. There are only two downfalls, the 91 octane and my mileage went down to 11. I would have given this a 5 star rating if it had not been for the decreased mileage. I do need to check it again though because the day I checked the air temp was about 10 and there was a strong wind which may in itself decreased the mileage. I have it on the ecomony setting now to see what it will do. I will keep the unit and probably would buy it again. It is a lot of money for 27hp but the actual gain feels like much more than that."

"I received my order a lot quicker than was said.The install was very easy.I noticed big power increase immediately, aspecially doing about 60 mph on a expressway,dropping the pedal you could really feel lots of power.Making it even more fun when doing over 100 you are not restricted to the stock 95mph.I really haven't pushed it to the max, after all it's a truck not a race car.Same day as I got the chip I have installed an after market exhaust system, maybe that's why it made a big increse in power.Ihave not noticed an improvement on gas yet, maybe because I was enjoing the louder exhaust, plus It was really cold for the passed week and I had to warm up my truck every day for about 15 min.I definitley recomend this product.Wes from Rolling Meadows Illinois."

"The superchip made a big difference in power. It has 3 settings. Towing, 87 octane, and 91 octane (performance). I have used towing and performance setting and haven't seen an increase in MPG. You definetly get more HP though. I wish the chip was just a little cheaper."
