"I installed the Edge Evolution on my 06 duramax. The install was easy because of the plug and play. I have yet to see much improvement in the MPG when using the economy mode however on the extreme tune the truck comes alive and is a animal."

"I bought this programmer because it has the gauges appear on the display, it came with the probe and it also comes with a pod to mount. When you look at the other programmers you have to buy all these things seperate, and with the 10% off its hard to beat. It has also woke my truck up."

Performance and Gas milage

"Performance has improves significantly much more power on hills and a lot less down shifting. But I have not noticed any change in gas milage. I Got 11 MPG pulling my 5th wheel prior to installing and still get 11 MPG."

"I purchased the programmer because I have oversized tires on my truck and my speedometer is off. It advertises that you can change the tire size, and that corrects the speedometer, however what they don't tell you is that this feature is not available with an allison transmission. That should be something you know. Other then that, there is definitely added power and performance. Good product!"

"Can def feel a difference in power on level 2 and 3. During the install the programming drained down my battery that it wouldn't start. Charged battery, finished programming and worked fine. Just beware, there is no customer service on the weekend if you run into a problem!"

"THE EDGE WAS A TOTAL SURPRISE TO ME. I WAS EXPECTING AN UPGRADE IN GAS MILEAGE WITH THE ECONOMY MODE. BUT EVER SINCE I WENT AND PURCHASED SOME PREMIUM GAS AND A BOTTLE OF OCTANE BOOSTER BECAUSE COSTCO GAS APPARENTLY DOESN'T HAVE VERY GOOD QUALITY GAS. THE GAS MADE MY 5.3L PINGED SO BAD WHEN I PROGRAMMED MY 08' GMC SIERRA TO EXTREME MODE. SO AFTER I PUT IN SOME OCTANE BOOSTER MY 5.3L BEAST CAME TO LIFE AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH MORE HP IT HAD. I KNOW ITS ONLY LIKE 35HP BUT WOW IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE...I HAVE HAD IT IN EXTREME MODE WASTING EXPENSIVE PREMIUM LIKE ITS GOING OUT OF STYLE EVER SINCE...I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. I LOVE THE EDGE EVOLUTION AND THE NEW ENGINE BOOST IT HAS GIVEN ME. MAYBE SOMEDAY I WILL KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO GET GAS MILEAGE OUT OF IT. BUT FOR NOW I WILL KEEP IT IN EXTREME MODE. GOOD THING THAT I HAVE ROYAL PURPLE PROTECTING MY ENGINE BECAUSE I AM PUSHING THE ENGINE TO THE LIMIT FROM NOW ON...ONE OF THOSE I DON'T CARE WHAT IT COSTS I JUST WANT TO SEE HOW FUN IT COULD BE TO DRIVE WITH IT PURCHASES. "over all big change lots of power. but what they dont tell you is that you cant change back and forth the settings .it cofuses the trucks computer and locks both up and you are stranded for five days.now this is only on the older trucks up to iwas told 2000s.then they changed the brains and the trucks computer functions much better. if i would have known this i would have just gone with a single 1 set plug in chip. scared to take the programer to a different setting now and have it lock up again. 1997 f-250 7.3 diesel"

"Outstanding product.Installation was a breeze, and it looks like it came with the truck due to the included dash mount. Noticeable gains in performance and horsepower with all three stock settings. "I just purchased this programmer, installed it and put it thru its paces in my 02 Ford F-250 super crew long bed. Installation was real easy, the instructions were very clear and if you have any mechanical ability you can do it. I am amazed at how changing the input to the computer has enhanced my trucks performance. I put it in the towing mode the increase in power and quickness of shifting was superb. I tow a 31’ fifth wheel around 13,000 lbs. The rest of the modes do perform as advertised, it is like having a hot rod again!! I would suggest you enhance your air intake to enjoy the full benifit of this product ."

"The Edge Eveloution Programmer made the throttle reesponse 100% better than it was, and the firm shifts of the transmission is great. Another area greatly improved, is changing the shift point from Third to Overdrive. My truck would shift from Third to Overdrive at 40 mph, which was a problem when driving in areas where the speed limit was 40. Adjusted above this point the Trucks has better throttle response. Over all Very pleased."

"The Edge Evolution is the best investment I have made in my truck. It is like driving a differant truck when it is in the tow or performance mode. this programmer works great with 5 speed manual transmissions. I have not checked fuel mileage yet , but it seems to be better. The other performance items on the truck are K&N air filter,Airaid throttle body spacer and delta 50 series Flowmaster muffler. I would highly recommend this programmer and the service of Auto Anything pricing and shipping."

"I have and old 97 ford f 350. I have only run my truck on the lowest setting and it woke my truck right up. It has a ton more power and I got 18 mpg with my first tank of fuel. Awesome! is all I can say. very easy to install. It came with instructions but the unit itself tells you everything you need to know. except to turn off key before pluging in."

"I cleaned my dash with alcohol twice and let it dry and the 3m velcro strips would not stick. Eerything else was good."

"Looks great, works well. Changes the feel of the truck. Trans mode shifts a lot firmer, and the live display is fantastic. Performance mode does not save gas, but is kicks ass."

"As long as you dont have supercharger expectations out of this programmer you wont be disapointed. Throttle response is much better and I have experienced a increase in gas mileage. If I had to do it all over again I would definitly get another because of all the features and ability to customize your vehicles engine/transmission."

"I noticed a difference in power for towing my 32 foot travel trailer.Also a big difference in power in the number 3 setting.It does light up red for my EGT temperature readings pretty easily.That is set from the factory at 1400 degrees.The hardest part is removing the wheel well to drill out for the probe.And that only takes a couple of minutes.Good bang for the bucks."

"I installed cold air intake before the Edge. My truck was pretty peppy already. I really didn't notice any difference in performance but lost 2 mpg on the highway in mode "2." Right now I have it in mode "1" to see what that does. 2 guys at work have 2008 F150's with cold air intake and they said there was a great increase in power. I don't know if it was the year of the vehicles that made the difference. Too bad for me because I was really looking forward to the increase. Oh yea, the color didn't match either. Would I recommend? Not for what it did for me."

"Definite increase in power. MPGs about the same. This programmer will make your engine come alive. It is hard to believe it's the same truck. I think the unit is priced too high but it performs flawlessly. Very easy to install. Very satisfied. 5.4L FX4."
